Update after using this for 3 months:The stitching on the bag is so poor that zips have come off, and straps have fallen out of the stitching, it has been a headache to keep stitching the numerous seams again and again. My daughter just wishes it was sewn proprely as it's not lasting her. I wouldn't buy this again :(Old review: This came as described in detailed delivery date. I bought this for my 10yr old daughter for school in black and she loves it! The zips open and close just fine.She uses the large one for her books, the large one also has a few sectioned areas inside it which helps her organise her stuff. This comes with a pretty little teddy bear, however the teddy has fallen off, so she attaches to the bag using her own key ring intead.The medium one she uses as her lunch bag. This fits a nice large sistema lunchbox and a very small bottle of juice. She also uses another larger water bottle in the side of her large bag.The small one she uses as a pencil case.My daughters friends also loved this and gave many compliments as well as asking where she got it from.

Bought this some months ago, but didn't use because one of the carry straps was not attached due to poor (or lack of) stitching. Contacted seller and they agreed to send a replacement (never arrived). When our daughter started her new school, gave up waiting and re-attached the strap ourselves.Our sewing held, but bag didn't last the day. The carry handle pulled off from one side, with no possibility of re-attaching.It's very pretty and appears to offer a great deal for your money, but material quality is very poor. Would recommend you spent your money elsewhere.19/09/18 - Just an update. One of the zips has now fallen to pieces, so have amended my previous 2 stars to 1 star. Looks really nice, but really really poor quality.

It broke in the first week of school!! My daughter was so disapointed; I hope it has been improved upon. My daughter was terribly upset at having to carrying her school books round in a plastic bag when the zip and strap completely broke at the beginning of class. I tried to fix it, however this wasn't possible due to it's construction; it was so bad I sadly had to throw it in the bin!!

no where near as pretty and bright as in the picture....my daughter will be well upset when shes home from school.if id have seen this in a shop i wouldnt have brought it.especialy for the cost.

This has to be the worst purchase I have made on Amazon. The build quality of this Daypack is very poor. After a few mins of the first use the straps from the bottom came loose causing the bag to fall on the floor, causing damage to the items inside. This keeps happening alot.After further use within 2 weeks the stitching from the top of the straps started coming breaking and the top of the straps are now hanging by a few threads.Within 4 weeks the straps and stitching have completely come off now. We have had to stitch them back on.It seems that this daypack is not capable of holding the daily school books in it and unless you will be using it for very light items will not hold.I would not recommend anyone to buy this for daily school use.

Love this, my daughter asked for this as a school bad(she is 16) and I was a little reluctant as I expected quality to be poor due to price. I was pleasantly surprised as quality is really good and all bags are a good size. Excellent value for money.

Its really pretty and fabric is thick and nice texture.zip started to play up but it may be as well kids fault ...lunch box is lovely doesn't look massive but u can pack a lot in.purse is perfect for money and bus pass and u can hide it perfectly within backpack

Took a while to arrive but I'm really pleased with the product. The main rucksack is big and strong, the shoulder bag is of the same quality and will fit a small lunchbox in. The pencil case is again of the same quality and plenty big enough for stationary supplies.I've ordered another for my other daughter :)
