Q: How does this fare in really hot weather? travelling to southeast asia, where temps will be 90-100+. will it melt & then re-form to a bar when cooler?

As we live in the Pacific Northwest, we rarely have really high heat. But while it softens some when it gets warm, it does not become liquid. It does firm back up in cooler temps.

Q: What is the actual smell once used? I've heard mixed answers

Nice. I can't describe it but it smells just like it did when first purchased.

Q: What is the packaging made out of? I want to try lotion bars to reduce my plastic usage.

The tin came in a box but sadly the box was in a plastic bag. The bag had the product label on it but maybe Amazon added that bad bit? Amazon seems to love plastic :(

Q: Are these cruelty-free, and without harming the bees?

Their website indicates that they are cruelty-free.
