Wore it off and on for a few months, not too often. Recently though, one of the pull strings broke making it constantly open and slide down my hand.Was a great bracelet for awhile though, quality materials other than the broken pull string.EDIT: Today I received package from the MeruBeads, enclosed was a replacement bracelet and a very very kind note apologizing for the defective bracelet I received previously from them. Additionally, they said they refunded my account of the purchase. I am highly impressed by the actions of this company and would tell anyone that they are worth shopping with.

I was looking for a set of a little higher quality mala beads, and came across these (sandalwood). I like to wear mala bead bracelets, but also like them to be a little more subtle than some of the longer strands that wrap up your wrist. I was not sure if they would fit, as I am a male with pretty big hands. I wrote the seller and he responded within the hour- giving me the exact info I needed (upon second look, it was included in the specifications, but the seller was nice and still answeredy question instead of getting annoyed). So I measured my wrist and gave these a shot. Unlike most other mala bracelets, these actually pull to loosen and tighten, not just an elastic strap, and they fit over my hand perfectly. In fact, full opened, slide over my hand with just enough room, and fully closed, almost fit my wrist perfectly. The lighter sandalwood is really nice because it is not heavy, and also if you work at a desk like I do, they don't bang against the desk to loudly and drive you nuts. They seem to be well put together, strong stitching, individually stitched beads, strong tightening system. I was actually impressed enough that I ordered the men's double wrap, with lava and tiger eye-catching mainly just because I love the look of them, and wanted to be able to alternate so either one don't take too much wear and tear (although having contacted the seller A couple times, I am fully confident if I did have any issue with the product, it would be swiftly taken care of- as the seller seems to genuinely care about satisfaction with his product and leaving happy customers). I haven't received the second bracelet, but it should be coming today. I would never hesitate to order another product from Merubeads, and I am sure I will be ordering many more; both for myself and they are great gifts. I am never been a "formal" mediator, but have been using these since I got them just to hold when I need a breather and count through the beads, and while I can't promise this would work for everyone, it has definitely helped me, for what it is worth. Not to mention it is just a good looking, simple product- the only piece of jewelry that I wear on a regular basis.

I ordered the red tiger's eye and the lava rock. Have only worn them a week and one of the beads on the tiger eye fell apart. Like it broke into. Not sure why, I'm an older person so it's not like I was being wild or anything. I do take them off when I shower. So disappointed as I really love the looks of them and they are really easy to get off and on. They do run small. After reading the other reviews I decided to try ordering the men's instead of the women's and glad that I did. I use the lava rock to use essential oils on and it holds up well. The oils will usually last more than 24 hours.

Having only had them for a few days, I cannot speak to their longevity. However, I do love the way they feel and look and my wife wants me to get her some, too.A month later the cord has stretched and frayed- where it adjusts the bracelet- to the point that I can't wear it anymore. This happened very suddenly and rapidly; In the morning it was fine but by that evening, it was about to fall apart. So, this leads me to detract 1 star from my original review and to warn buyers that the bracelet can't stand up to everyday wear. Maybe only wear it on special occasions or a few times per week.

I had a precious 3 star review stating I loved the craftsmanship, but wish there were different sizes because the bracelet did not fit around my hand. I was just uninformed on how to open the bracelet properly:I just wanted to update my view, I give them 5 stars! Upon, seeing my previous review Meru responded to me on how to open the bracelets correctly, with a small youtube video. You just pull and the bracelet opens up, very well done product, I would recommend them to anyone interested in a quality male bracelet!!

The bracelet is very well made, and the workmanship of the beads is well done. The overall diameter is small however, making it difficult to put on. I did contact the company, and apologized that they only provide the one size, and suggested I look at their larger line. I would advise the seller to provide size information to future patrons to limit disappointment. At this point I am looking at changing the way it closes.

l loved this mala bracelet and wore it every day. After about four months the string started to wear thin and the bracelet became looser on my wrist, but I was hopeful that if I continued to be gentle with it, it would last.Unfortunately, the string broke last week and I can no longer wear it. :-(I purposely chose the adjustable bracelet because I was afraid an elastic-band version would break.I will probably buy this again because I love the tigers eye gemstones but I'm more than a little disappointed that it only lasted seven months.

I purchased both the Tiger Eye and Lava Rock wrist malas and they are, without doubt, the best on Amazon. They’re both stunningly beautiful and the craftsmanship is superb. If you’re looking for gemstone bracelets, you won’t be disappointed with these.
