Great
Value for money for a beer that's not easy to find in larger packs

Refreshing and palatable English lager
One of my favorite artisan lagers. Really refreshing with a mild, dry hoppy finish. Slightly malty with hints of citrus and spice although Its not a strong flavour, then again it is lager! perfect carbonation. Purchased for the first time to take into a festival, the can size is definitely a bonus as it prevents the lager from getting warm. Still enjoyed even after 3 days of quaffing and consumption. All in all a great beer!

Best Lager
Camden Hells is by far the best lager I have ever tasted from a British Brewery. If I close my eyes I could be in Bavaria!

A good up market lager.
a good lager which seems to have suffered slightly of late as production has been ramped up. Still an excellent drinking experience with character and depth of flavour even if it seems to be a little less smooth on the palate and have lost some clarity of afternotes. Good but not great.

Why so expensive?
I rate Camden Hells but why am i being asked to pay £60 for a 24 pack of 330ml cans, that works out at £2.50 a can or £5 a pint about which is ridiculous. Camden Town brewery whilst once independent is now owned by AB InBev who are one of the biggest in the world so any talk of artisant / craft is just fluff, it's mass produced. As with all these trendy beers we are just paying someone a premium for not much difference over & over & over again. Whilst it's nice (it is) after a while it's just drinking lager and doesn't justify the sky high price, even in supermarkets it's £17 for 12 bottles in a market where Peroni, Corona were always a bit more but now seem cheap. Insanity.
