I have several collared shirts that I don't want to attach the top botton on. With out having buttons on the side collar the collar flattens out. With these new collar stays with the magnets it's great. I slide in the new collar stays add the magnets on the inside of the shirt. Pow the collar stays up looking crisp and professional. Just have to remember to take them out before washing.

Where have these been in my life? For years, I have used the cheap plastic collar stays that came with my shirts. They have gone through the washer and dryer, been used and reused and have never really kept my collar straight. Enter these magnetic steel collar stays and life has changed! My shirt collar stays straight and I can prop it up to wear under a sweater or as is without a tie and the collar looks like a button down. It stays in place all day and looks sharp. The magnets are strong and I have not had any problems. I forgot I had them in the second day and adjusted my color and a magnet fell into my shirt so I can understand why they sell magnets separately. However, it stayed in my shirt and I was able to retrieve it.I will probably buy another pair just in case as I can tend to forget but they have own me over quickly!

These collar stays do the job they say it will do. I can use them on at least half my shirts. Will see how long before losing the tiny inside shirt magnets. (however, you can purchase more on Amazon.)

Sounded great. They do look good. You will loose them. I lost one of my magnets the first day. If you wear a tie. The metal part will fall out when you pop your collar to tie the tie. They fall out in the washer/dryer. They are too expensive to have to replace every week. Smart idea though, just not practical for me.

Didn’t know how bad I needed these, made a huge difference in appearance of my shirts and haven’t had any problems with them staying on or anything.

I bought these after losing a magnet on the original set I purchased a while back (white ones that came in a box with two different sizes). The magnets are really weak in comparison on this model. On a thicker shirt they'll pop off and get lost doing routine movement or when you're taking it on or off.I already lost one of the magnets in the first week so I re-ordered the other version you can find on Amazon and they work great.
