Beautiful Dress and my daughter loves it. I love the accessories. The dress does light up, but beware that there are no instructions in the box or on the box. I found the instructions in the photos for the product listed on its Amazon page. The lights are in a tiny pocket hidden under one of the underlying skirts at the back of the dress. Once you take them out, you do have to string the lights and that wasn't too hard for me at least. There are white button-like attachments to one of the underskirts that you string them around. You remove a white paper insert from the light box to get it started. There is a tiny button on the side of the light box that turns the lights on. There is a mode for blinking lights and one for non-blinking light so that's neat. Overall, the product is great but without looking at the photos in the product's description, I can see why some would think the dress doesn't light up as the string of lights are wound up and hidden and the product is sent without instructions.

This dress is very well made. The lights are placed very strategically throughout the bottom of the dress. It is a very beautiful dress.

October 5, 2024 revision - these extra lights are a spare set in case the originals stop working! Now that I have that figured out this deserves 5 starsOriginal:The LED lights are supposed to be installed already but we have this unattached string of lights - where do they go anyhow? It's a cute dress regardless, my granddaughter will love it but it's not fair to give grandparents agita!

My daughter loves it, it looks just like the picture, came with all the accessories, quality is to be expected with any costume, but overall great.

The dress has velcro on the inside, and the lights are attached to something similar to a ribbon but made of cloth. Some of this was loose and hanging off the dress; I didn't realize it was the lights. I had to re-attach the entire string of lights to the dress, but it wasn't too big of a deal. So, be careful if it appears the strand of cloth is loose; it's one long piece of cloth that contains the lights, and I had to zig-zag them through the dress. Other than that, it lights up beautifully, and the accessories are great!

Princess dress was very disappointing and look nothing like the picture in the add.

This is a costume/ bday present for my daughter so she hasn’t seen it yet but this is so dang cute! Great price for all you get.
