Butterflies (Peterson Field Guide Color-In Books) Paperback – January 1, 2003

I bought this book for my daughter, who loves butterflies, but I like butterflies too. Now I think the butterflies are drawn well, and you can't wait to color them.Now to see the colors of then butterfly you want to color, you have to find the sticker number that matches the number of your butterfly. Now there are 4 pages of stickers in the front of the book, and each sticker has a number beside it, but the last 30 butterflies are on the back cover of the book. Now to see the color of these butterflies you have to keep leaving your page and turning to the back to see the colors of your butterflies. I also wish they had the number of the butterfly by each drawn butterfly, because you have to read the article to find the name of the butterfly and find the number that goes with the name of that butterfly, and everything is not always in numerical order. Also when my daughter picks out a butterfly sticker, to find the picture and number that matches the sticker can take some time to match up, because you have to read through the articles to find the number that matches the stickers number, and this can take quite some time, and the numbers are not always in order. Now if this sounds confusing, you know how I feel, and now you know what I'm talking about. And it would be nice if this book ha a index or something showing the name of the butterflies in this book, and the page number that each butterfly is on.So me and my daughter finished the book, but I did have to purchase another book that was more organized.Now I don't know if these things will be a problem for you, but my daughter was really into these butterflies, and these things were a major problem for my daughter. Also, whatever book I got my daughter wasted to keep as a reference book, and this book was too much of a mess to be used as a reference book.

My great grand daughters love butterflies. This book tells about them in words they can read themselves and has colored stickers so they can see how they look in color.I ordered this as a used book and was not disappointed. It arrived as ordered , when ordered. I was happy that I got what I wanted in both the product and the customer service.I used this as a way to keep little brains active in the summer doldrums. We had fun looking at the pictures, for the younger . Reading descriptions challenged the older. By the way, both girls loved this !

I found this wonderful book on butterflies as part of a gift for my nephew. He has realy loved these cute and detailed color books. I am so happy i found them at such a great price. They were exactly as described. fast shipping also!

I bought this book for a niece that loves Butterflies. It was shipped directly to her. If I remember, her mother said it was nice, but it was a bit advanced for her at the time.

I purchased this as a gift and almost kept it for myself. Yes I am a 40 year old man who wants to skip work and color this all day.
