The enema itself is a rigid transparent vessel with a maximum 1L capacity (graduated every 0.25L) which has a hanging notch for attaching it to a shower rail in your bath or shower cubicle. A barbed nozzle to which the transparent 1.2 m (4 ft) tube will be attached during use is at the side of the vessel close to the bottom. The tap which inserts into the other end of the tube must be in the "off" position while the user is filling the bag with water, and in the "on" position during use, allowing the flow of water into the nozzle. The kit comes with two nozzles: the shorter one is for the enema procedure; the longer one is for the douche procedure. The kit and the nozzles must be cleaned and dried after each use. It is a personal care item that cannot be shared with others.
