PerfectSmoke Premium 9 mm Pipe Filters Box of 200 Activated Carbon Filters Chlorine-Free Made in Germany for a Dry, Light and Cool Draw

There is only one other review of these filters and the reviewer gave them a 1 star (0 stars in his write-up), so I almost didn't order them. However, I can't get the 200 pack of Stanwell filters from Pipes & Cigars any longer so decided to try them. I like them as well or better than the Stanwell filters. They are made in Germany, have ceramic end caps and active charcoal filtering, and fit perfectly into all of my pipes. I have good quality pipes - Vauen, Stanwell, Bentley, John Arylsbury, etc., so I would certainly not want to use a filter which could get stuck in the pipe and then damge the pipe using pliers to remove it as the other reviewer did. I have had no problem with removal when I change them. I smoke only 9mm filtered pipes and begin each bowl with a new filter, so it is nice to be able to get a 200 pack for a very reasonable price. I am going to order more before price and availability change on account of my review.

Great 9mm filters. First lets discuss the elephant in the room, the fit. Some of the reviews stated they didn't fit properly. We have not experienced this with any of our large collection of pipes. I shared a pic of two Stanwells to show how they fit. They smoke beautifully and do their job as intended. I definitely like that both ends have ceramic caps. No worries about a stray ember hitting a plastic cap & getting that burnt plastic taste. We typically pay $10 for a box of 40, so being able to purchase 200 for $20 was a deal worth gambling. I'm glad we did because we actually prefer this filter and it is the brand we will purchase from now on.

I bought these filters assuming 9mm is 9mm. Well turns out 9mm IS 9mm but not quite the right fit. It smoked fine, however when I tried to swap it out the filter wouldn’t budge( I thoroughly clean my pipe often). I had to revert to pliers, the filter tore in half and was dry. No matter how I tried the other half was stuck in the stem and would not give up its purchase. I ended up destroying the stem and ordering more stems seeing how I was left without one that fit. So I really have nothing good to say thus 0 stars.

Always amazed by manufacturers stupid mistakes.This could be a great product at a great price but it's not.Reason: holes in the end caps are too small creating too much restriction in the flow through the pipe.My advise: by the Stanwell or the Big Ben brands

I'm a fan of pipes that take a 9mm filter. I hesitated to buy them since they have a low price. You get way you pay for. Anyways they work just fine. I've had no problems with them fitting right in my pipes. They absorb moisture and reduce tongue bite like they should. Great price for 200 filters!

Works fine in all my 9 mm pipes!
