Works fairly well.
Overall this is a decent snake camera/ endoscope. It said sd card inthe listing so one would assume it takes pictures or video but it does not. This is ONLY FOR LIVE VIEWING

Vision trÚs nette sur l'écran
UtilisĂ© pour inspecter une canalisation encastrĂ©e dans un mur et qui fuyait. Tuyau peut-ĂȘtre un peu rigide, mais trĂšs efficace

Amazing technology. Limited uses.
I canât believe what you can get for your money nowadays! This is an awesome bit of technology for so little money.I got this to try and find what was blocking our sewer pipe. With limited success. When itâs clean and dry, the camera gives a good picture on the screen. But as soon as itâs had contact with any water or dirt in the pipe, the camera lens obviously gets obstructed or blurred and I had to bring it back up, wipe it and start again. This process took a really long time before I got any glimpse of what I needed to see. That said - itâs definitely water proof - having pushed the camera all the way through a completely blocked and full section of pipe and itâs still working fine.Itâs not super flexible when in use - you can bend it really easily with your hands to any shape or angle but if you try to push it round the bend of a pipe, it just refuses to bend round and you end up repeatedly hitting the camera into the sides of the pipe - which again results in a dirty, unusable lens. I guess this rigidity is a pro in some jobs and a con in others.Since then I have used it to see obstructed angles when fixing under a bathroom sink, inside a tumble dryer and various parts of my car. I have found trying to âsteerâ or navigate the camera while holding the main unit and seeing the screen had been a tricky and a clumsy operation at the best of times. Getting the right distance from the object you are trying to see and keeping it in sharp focus is definitely an art form, but it really is pretty good at focusing.I definitely would like a screenshot or screen recording option to view the footage back, but I knew this wasnât a feature when buying it, so not marking it down for this - but something to consider if youâre looking to buy one.
