Great Product, Easy To Use
Very good feel in the hand. I don't plan of dropping it, or handling it roughly, but it feels like it could withstand impacts - doesn't feel like some cheapo tool. A friend who installs office cubicles for a living recommended this product as it is what they use in their business. Secondly, it is easy to use. Very simple button layout made it easy to set up and use right out of the box. Also like the "too far out of plumb" feature. So if the LASER is setup such that it can't level, it turns the LASER off until it is brought back within the range where it can self level.

great professional laser level
I'm a professional wallcovering installer & this is my 2nd PLS. Most installers I know use the PLS system for it's accuracy & dependability. Word of caution... DON'T drop it. If you're going to be banging it around then get a cheaper model like a Dewalt etc. However I did notice that the casing on this model is rubberized rather than the plastic on my old model.I use a laser on almost all projects that need accurate leveling including tile, wood flooring, hanging pictures, cabinets, molding countertops etc. Just stock up on batteries!!

This is a great tool at a great price!
This is a great laser! It works flawlessly! I owned a similar pls 180, had it around 10 years. After dropping it more then ten feet a couple of times it lost its calibration. This new pls 180 red laser is made high impact material and the laser is better protected from a fall. The laser is sharp & clear giving me an accurate vertical & horizontal read. I highly recommend this tool.

It is great laser level when using it for laying large tile on walls. You can keep your joints level and plumb as you lay tile up the walls. Very helpful in layouts for upper cabinets.

BE CAREFUL BUYONG PLS LASERS FROM AMAZON. 3 year Warranty is not honored by amazon.
Just bought one, turned it on and the light indicator on the back of the laser cane on but the laser itself wouldn’t turn on. Only reason I gave it two stars is because I’m waiting for its replacement and I know from my green pls 280 how good these are. It’s basically the exact same product with a yellow removable housing for added fall protection.
