I'm really into Korean skin care, I love everything about their formulas, packaging, and the effect on the skin.This is another good Korean brand, and they try to incorporate typical food ingredients in their skin care lines. This one is all about rice, and I've tried other rice creams before, they always felt super nice on the skin and do work on evening out your tone somewhat, but only if you are also religious about using sunscreen and other sun protection.I'd say the cream is in between super rich and very lightweight, so it'll be perfect for pretty much anyone, except if your skin is super dry, you might want to either use a facial oil afterwards, or add a couple of oil drops into the cream directly before applying it.Ingredients look great, the only one that you might be careful about might be fragrance if you're not into that kind of thing, but the smell is not offensive, and it doesn't linger for too long.Looking forward to finishing the jar and seeing what effect it has on my skin long-term.

I like the texture of this Skin Food brightening cream. It comes out of the jar creamy, spreads into the skin well and absorbs nicely. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized all day and it’s a a nice base for make up. I love Korean face products and this is a good one that comes in a lovely jar.

This is a super creamy emulsion type moisturizing cream imported from Korea, where the most innovative skincare products source from these days. I like it very well so far. I have oily skin and this cream does not seem to either clog up my pores or encourage excessive sebum production (layman's terms: it doesn't make my face more oily). It's very softening and soothing. SO gentle on my maturing skin. There's lots of glycerines and glycols in this formula for hydration, but Skinfood is particularly proud of the primary active ingredient which is a Fermented Rice Extract. I've noticed that any Korean product with rice extract seems to play nice with my particular complexion type, this one being no exception to the rule. You don't get a huge jar with your order (60ml) but the quality is so good I can't help but to enthusiastically recommended this luxurious, high quality cream. It's amazing!

This is a mildly scented facial moisturizer with the fragrance most resembling popcorn jellybean and fresh rice to me, lol! It's very light so it doesn't linger once you apply it to your face. That's the best description I could come up with for the fragrance. The cream is white in color and a little thicker than lotion but not quite as thick in consistency as other facial creams I have tried. The jar had a tamper resident seal on upon arrival. The cream is lightweight and easily spread across my face. A little of the product goes a long way and it did leave a slightly sticky residue on my face. My face definitely felt nicely moisturized without feeling greasy or weighed down. I have combination skin type. I didn't follow up with separate moisturizer as I felt that would be too much. I did not experience any irritation from using.

This pretty little bottle of cream is just what I've come to expect from the lovely skin care products coming to us from Korea. The jar is filled to the absolute brim with a white, almost translucent lotion. It is so lightweight that is goes on more like a gel than a cream, yet it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and moist. I detect no fragrance or scent, and my sensitive skin experienced no adverse reaction.I cannot be sure if my "mature" skin looks any brighter after using this, but it most certainly feels fresher and happier. This cream truly is "food" for the skin!

Just got the SKIN FOOD since 1957 Rice Brightening Cream to help improve my skin's elasticity and moisture. So far so good! The SKINFOOD brand has been around in South Korea for many decades and it's a trusted brand for skincare. I particularly liked the cream's consistency - it's thick without being too sticky. I haven't noticed much visible brightening, but I think my skin does look better moisturized after using the cream.

This is a pretty good product. I think that it's helping my skin a lot. I've been on a skincare kick lately and tried a bunch of products and this seems to be as good as all the others that I've tried. Based on the price and the quality I can recommend it. I didn't have any issues with smell. Also no issues with skin reactions for me.

This jar is a bit small and reminds me of the uber luxe brand Tatcha which is MUCH more expensive but some of their creams come in similar sized little jars and feel the same. This is kind of like Tatcha in terms of how good it feels, how effortless it is to use and how fast it soaks in. The results are just as promised, skin felt amazing, softer, moisturized, looked brighter and I didn't need to use a lot at all. Little less than pea sized even so it's going to lastI 100% recommend this. It is a little much for the size but it's a trade off for the ingredients I think as I could get something much cheaper but it would be full of artificial garbage
