Piazzolla: Soul of the Tango

When I ordered this cd I imagined all the pieces would be conventional tango. They were not and I was someone disappointed. However, if I set aside the reason why I originally ordered it, I find I do like the music. It's great to have in the background and I love cello anyway.

YYM is a gifted cellist and many people will like this but I found it struggles beside the competition.

YoYoMa is both a great cellist, and an inovator of musical styles. This is a great selection of takes on the Astor Piazzola's Accordion tango music.

i HEARD THIS AT A CONCERT LOCALLY AND WANTED TO HEAR MORE.i ORDERED 2 CDS ,BOTH ARE EXCELLENT AND ARRIVED IN THE SAID TIMESCALE.

Some of it I enjoyed & other stuff a little too heavy for me but after all, music taste is unique to every individual

This introduces you to an aspect of the Tango that most people never know exists. Great music well played.

And not to be confused with soul music. All the character of music created with passion to dance to with equal passion.
