These Coax cables are totally weather shielded and can be used outdoors exposed to the sun, wind, and rain. The ends have soft silicone rubber seals that make hand-screwing the connectors a little difficult, but the results are more than worth it. I'd suggest a light coat of silicone grease on the threads to ease the assembly, further weatherproof the connection, and as an anti-seizing measure. Once assembled, these cables will give you trouble-free performance for at least a decade.

Not long enough

One of my cats loves to chew on tv cables (go figure), he has destroyed two previous cables but so far this cable is hardly showing any wear and tear...

We couldn't get it to work so have to look for a better grade.
