Glimpse into a day (or two) in the Beatles' life
Presented in a coffee-table book format, this is a great piece for Beatles fans. It gives a glimpse into a very specific period in the Beatles' era. The narrative provided gives context to both the Beatles' experience as well as the photographer's. Glad I purchased it for myself. Would also be a great present for the Beatles fan in your life.

More about Tom Murray than the Beatles
This book was a let down as a huge Beatles fan from this era, this photo shoot is legendary and this release just didn't live up to my expectations. There were hardly any new pictures I haven't already seen and honestly, the book is more about Tom Murray than the "Mad Day Out" with the Beatles. I wish there were more pictures but it was still interesting to a certain extent. I would recommend this book for the hard core fans only.

only a very few selected stills fm mad day out, and those are repeated in the book....
better than nothing, that is about it. very disappointed. it is mostly about the photographer, when it should be (as advertised) ALL about the famous photo shoot. therefore, there should BE the photoshoot, ALL of the pictures taken that day. not a selected few, over and over. hope some day, before i'm too old to care, there is a reasonably priced book with all of the mad day out photoshoot included. not really cricket.

Lacks Many Beatle Photos
The book contains some Beatle photos but not many. Still, it was interesting.

No so much a Beatles photo book
I expected this to have more photos from the famous photo shoot. Instead it’s a montage of clippings and photos of events from 1968. Wouldn’t have bought this had I known.
