bought these to wear on a flight and they were comfortable. My ankles still got swollen but probably my fault for not taking more walking breaks while on the 4 hour flight! After the flight back, I elevated my feet for a bit once I got home, and had no swelling.

These socks were a lifesaver!! I ordered them toward the end of my recent pregnancy, as I was in the early stages of preeclampsia and had 10+ pounds (and rising) of fluid retention in my feet and legs - extremely uncomfortable!! My daughter actually arrived before I received the socks, as she came a month early, just after I ordered them. The socks arrived the day after I gave birth, when I still had awful fluid retention and was frustrated with the pain and discomfort, along with my related high blood pressure and the usual post-labor recovery.When I put the socks on, they immediately felt comfortable but tight enough that the compression effect was slightly noticeable. They were comfy enough to wear around the house for the next few days, so I wore them day and night. I was immediately more comfortable and had less pressure and pain from the swelling, especially in my feet. After just two days, I could tell a huge difference visually when I looked down at my ankles and feet (hello again, ankle bones!!). Within a few more days, the swelling was completely gone. My obstetrician was very surprised when I came in a week after giving birth with all the swelling gone - within a week, I had lost almost 20 pounds of mostly retained fluid!! Needless to say, I felt a million times better.Bottom line - these are the best compression socks for maternity, hands down. They are the only ones I could find that provided compression starting at the toes instead of the ankles; they are very comfortable; and they work wonders. Thank you, Caresox!

These socks are hard to put on yourself. I had to have my husband put these on for me during pregnancy and even he had trouble putting them on me. They do the job though. I just wished it was easier to put on without straining.

In the middle of five months pregnant and having issue with sore feet and legs by end of day running errands etc.(can't speak to how well these would work if I worked on my feet and was standing for extended periods of time). I'm 5'2" and typically wear a medium petite length pant; impressed that the small socks were just the right fit in length. Often times compression hose/socks are too tall and overlap at my knees causing the hose to bind when my knees bend. Also helpful from another review when ordering so I'll include here; my shoe size is between an 8.5-9 in US women's shoe size and the foot of the sock fit perfect. Hope that helps someone else in ordering as I was skeptical that a small would fit.

I ordered the pink and blue Small first and they work great - I then ordered the blue and white Small to have another pair and they're bigger than the link and blue even though they're both size Small - very disappointed

I'm 5'3" 120lbs, small is perfect fit. These worked great for me. I wear them for working as a nursing assistant on my feet for 9hrs. I have the start of varicose veins and had very sore calves at the end of my shifts; after these getting these socks my calves no longer hurt. I haven't had any problems with sweaty feet, but I put anti-order talc powder in my shoes. I have been washing them in the washer and drying on low with no problems for ~3 months. I'm going to buy a second pair so I don't have to wash them everyday.

Worked very well, especially overnight. I almost had ankles again in the morning. Can be hard to get on and might even be too tight if you are very swollen.

I loved these when I was pregnant. I would get the worst leg cramps at night if I didn't wear these during the day throughout my entire pregnancy. They kept my legs and feet cool enough that I could even wear them in the summer without any sweating issues. Perfect compression, not too tight like some I've tried. The only slight down side is they can be a bit difficult to put on, especially with a big belly in the way but they are totally worth it. I'd highly recommend even if you aren't pregnant!
