Regarding the hens, when seasonally appropriate, our chickens like to roam on certified organic pasture where they can scratch and pick at grass and bugs, but they cannot survive on these alone. Organic Valley egg laying hens are fed a 100% organic, non-GMO grain ration which includes soybeans, corn and small grains, such as wheat, barley, oats and flax. Thanks!
