Watch the video makes it easy to install
I was having trouble grasping the concept of installation go by just the little pictures so I pulled up the video and everything became clear. Easy to install regarding of weather your window goes in or out. use your common sense. the velcro goes along the window and upper and lower sills. So far works great.

Super easy to install and works great!
My husband and I have the hottest room in the house, so we had to buy a portable ac unit. And of course, our room has the old casement windows! We had foam and plastic covering duct taped over our window and had to keep replacing it before I found Airly on Amazon. SO glad I did. This thing is a lifesaver! It's made of a tent like material, so I'm pretty sure it's waterproof. I Googled how to install it and it was so simple! We bought the smallest size, and it was still too big by about 2 feet, but that's okay because I have it doubled up on one side of the window! I see it as extra protection! So far, no leaks at all! The room is SO much cooler than it was! Thanks, Airly!

The answer to the old metal plate
As it is still May and not hot here for another month I can not say how it will hold up but for it was easy to install. It was long at the top and bottom but we folded it at the top and taped the Window cover up and wrapped around the hose at the bottom. It went up easy with lots of tape left over. We tried it out and works fine. I only gave it 4 stars for now for quality and durability because it is too early to tell how it will hold up through the summer. However I think it should do fine. I do not get the sun beating on my windows. Rather then AC the whole house I use the AC unit in my bedroom and do not turn the main unit.I may have to put duck tape around the hose where it goes out the window to ensure hot air coming in. I had a piece of plastic in the window that did not fit all that well and used lots of tape to keep the thing in the window. This looks a lot neater and easy to clean. The width of the opening is 12 inches for the hose to stick out. This is one of the free standing portable A/C's . Have had no trouble with the AC but the covers have been a pain to deal with and expensive to have a new Plexiglas plate made especially if you move the AC around to different windows.

Fantastic product!
I live in a 3-story condo with a single AC zone. The first floor cools off, but the 3rd floor is a good 15 degrees warmer than the rest of the house, and I have searched for years for a way to cool my 3rd floor, but had not been able to figure out an effective way to vent a standalone AC out the skylight until I found the Airly Airlock Window Seal. I've only had it installed for one night so I can't rate its durability yet, but the 3rd floor was the most comfortable it's ever been in the summer, my son actually had to get up and turn off the AC during the middle of the night because he started to get cold! Fantastic product, and a great value for the price. It was really easy to install too, only took about 10 minutes. Highly recommend it!

Works well - only lasts 2 years
Works quite well for casement windows. Did the job that’s needed. After two years the tape stickiness is gone and it’s falling apart. I guess that’s all you can expect for a cheap product exposed to the elements. Expect this as a non-permanent solution (that would be plexiglass, but much more work)

I was skeptical…
I have had this in my window for about two months now and it’s still going strong! I live in a very windy and rainy climate so I was a little worried to see how it would hold up, but it’s going strong! Water does pool on the top and drop down, but it hasn’t been an issue yet. The other reviews mention that it does take some time to think and put it together, but if I can do it by myself I think anyone can.My cat doesn’t lay in it often, but in the event that she does, I’m glad to know it doesn’t collapse. I do keep the door closed while I’m gone just in case.

easy to install, adjustable and efficient
Our windows have a vertical outward opening that we control with a crank. Working from Home during Covid during the California heat wave, we did invest in a portable AC. the difficulty was to connect the unit tube to our windows. I've found many of these options on Amazon (to get it fast without going out) and picked this one. it was perfect: it arrived super fast, was easy to install (with the adhesive velcroc and the zipper) and worked perfectly. In the fall, when we stored the portable AC, the window seal was easy to fold and to store. I've decided to leave the velcroc on the window. It will take 2 minutes to re install next summer. I recommend

Produit intéressant, mais pour qu’il s’ajuste à ma fenêtre, j’ai dû le couper à chaque extrémité
Pas assez d’options d’ajustement. Facile à installer.
