Mini Mania Only Compatible with Toyota 4Runner (2010-2021) Sprint Booster V3 Eliminates Throttle Lag

So I was somewhat skeptical on what this product could do for my 2018 4Runner. Now I had done some research and read others reviews of a competing product the pedal commander. I had read with that product people had gotta check engine lights etc and I didn’t want to deal with that. In the end I went with the sprint booster for one because it was a much smaller setup, two it was so easy to connect and finally three the dial to set the settings didn’t need to be left connected! Awesome, I popped in this device as stated in the instructions inline between my accelerators pedal and the line that probably goes to the computer. Super simple. In no time I was up and running. Now I started at level 9 In s mode and just a minor touch of the pedal and it was like I was flooring it!! Now for those that don’t know basically this device takes your input and magnifies it. So if you say I’m pressing the accelerator 10% of the way at level 9 it’s like 90% throttle. I had to find a sweet spot, and I found myself lowering the levels until I got comfortable with what to me was acceptable.I can honestly say this thing is amazing! It really woke up the trucks dead spot in the pedal, I can pass with ease at a tiny squeeze of the pedal and it just seems so much more effortless to drive. It really is that much better. If you have a 4Runner this is a must! I leave my little adjustment screen disconnect as it’s sort of a set it and forget it type of thing once you have it set. It’s completely removable with no trace of it being installed so no warranty issues.I off-road my vehicle so I’m unsure if I’ll leave it dialed in when I’m wheeling as I feel throttle input being a bit numb is a good thing. You don’t need speed when your off roading but I’ll upset my review and let you guys know.Honestly 10/10 would def recommend!

I love my 2019 4Runner, but I’ve never been impressed with the driving experience. It felt gutless unless you absolutely mash the gas. I started reading up on it and found out that the throttle by wire was the issue. In an attempt to gain more MPG, engineers messed with the algorithms for the relationship between throttle pedal position and actual throttle body position. Flooring the throttle actually opens up the throttle body to 100%, but between idle and 100% throttle position, the response is delayed and it isn’t a 1:1 ration like the old days with throttle cables.This research led me to the Sprint Booster. Man what a difference. Completely installed in less than 15 minutes. No check engine lights, no drop in fuel economy, but it drives like a completely different car.It now drives like you have a better “feel” for what the engine is doing. Going around corners in a neighborhood? Just slightly crack the throttle for a split second and it reacts exactly how you would think. Before, it would be a 1/4 throttle application with no clue if it was going to downshift or not.Absolutely amazing! I cannot overstate how good this is. Love it!!!

Was going on a road trip and felt I needed a boost for the hwy to be able to get out of the way. Reached out to seller to see if they can have it here on time before my trip. I paid for the expedited shipping and although fed ex said 3-5 days I received it in 2. Thank you for the help and great service.The sprint booster also is very well put together. I tried another popular company and my Runner felt like it was over idling. Installed both the same way exactly how book said. I did not get any error lights but the booster just performs as if it is a part of the vehicle. Such a great product.

This is one of the best modifications I've done to my 2018 4Runner TRD PRO. I set mine on green #5 and its perfect. What I like is it was quick and easy to install, can be removed and doesn't modify anything computer-wise. And although I haven't used the pedal lock feature yet, it is nice to have the option.After a few months there hasn't been and increase or decrease in mpg, I enjoy driving the 4Runner more and its easier to accelerate in situations when you need it quickly.Great product, very good quality. Would definitely recommend and buy again. If you have a 4Runner and feel it's sluggish, give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

I've only used it for a week, but it does exactly what they said it would do: it eliminates the acceleration lag that the 4runner is notorious for. It is great, but at $300, it's way overpriced. A more reasonable price would be $150-$200.

Had a problem with the unit that i got after using for about 8 months, the US and Greek teams took care of it and sent me a replacement under warranty. Awesome job

So not only do I get better throttle response on Green 4 setting but I'm averaging 1.5 mpg increase of the last 5 tanks of gas. Not only that but my work is in a shoddy part of town and I use the pedal lock out to disable all function of the gas pedal with a 3 digit code when I park there. Thats something pedal commander doesn't have. Also the remote is so much smaller than pedal commander and not much of an eyesore. I drilled out a hole in one of the blank button spots and mounted it on top, looks great there.
