Should this game be played before starting gloomhaven core game?

You do get an extra city event card for Gloomhaven when you play so that’s neat. If you are going to play both anyway, I think you might as well start with this game just to get some background on the races and the city (at least reading the race cards from this game). But as others have said Founders isn’t necessary to play Gloomhaven and the gameplay is completely different.

What is the minimum/maximum number of players that can play?
