Delicate unusual smell

These small bottles are great and this product is but the bigger bottles I’ve had problems with as they don’t smell great.

Ich habe mir die Mühe gemacht, die Inhaltsstoffe zu studieren, weil der Geruch so gar nichts mit Spikenard zu tun hat. Kein Wunder, besteht dieses Produkt hauptsächlich aus Olivenöl, Limone und einem nicht näher definiertem Parfum. Es enthält aber auch BHT ( ein Stoff, der allergieauslösend, schädlich für die Fortpflanzung und von Wissenschaftlern unisono als krebserregend eingestuft wird!) sowie Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, eine synthetische Chemikalie, die für Wasserorganismen giftig ist mit langanhaltender Wirkung und nur dann kennzeichnungspflichtig ist, wenn die Konzentration, die auf der Haut verbleibt, überschritten wird. Sowas wird als Salböl verkauft! Der auf der Verpackung aufgedruckte biblische Spruch, dass damit Kranke geheilt und Sünden vergeben werden, mutet somit sarkastisch an.

I recommend this oil whether it is your first time using Spikenard, or if you are accustomed to this ancient oil and it's properties.

The anointing oils smells great . I'm anointing myself now every night before going to bed. Thank you Holyland and May God continuously bless you !!!!

I am not sure why the oil in the picture looks purple but it isn't. With that said, in my church life I have used and have been anointed with various oils and there is just something about this one. The smell is unlike anything I have ever smelled and when you think of the woman breaking open the alabaster box of ointment of spikenard and pouring it on the head of Jesus, it is very moving and is special in some way. I would say a must have for anyone in ministry.
