Decent sieve for the price
I recently started grinding my own flour, and I wanted to remove the larger pieces of germ that my mill couldn't fully pulverize. Yes, I read the dimensions online, but I still wasn't prepared for how small this sieve is! I can sift about 1 cup of flour at a time without making too much of a mess.40 mesh seems to be just right for removing wheat germ from freshly-milled flour. The quality of this sieve seems fine thus far. I sift about 6 cups of flour each week, and it's held together just fine.I gave this product 4 stars, rather than 5, because it is fairly difficult to clean the flour out of a lip formed where the metal ring meets the mesh on the bottom of the sifter. It's not a deal breaker, but it is kind of a pain to clean. I always hand wash this sifter.

Very small. Pay attention to dimensions
I am giving this 3 stars because of the size. It is very small and not very versatile. I should have looked more closely to the dimensions.

Make sure to dry well
I only gave it 3 stars because mine rusted after 2 uses

Chinese stainless steel
Bought four of them. The product rusts all over the mesh and causes the mesh to disintegrate. Threw out all four. Would rate it less than one star.

It Works?
Well, it does what it is supposed to do, but i did not read well. The sifter is not as large around as I thought it wold be. I was focused on the sifter (mes) size and should have paid attention to the total size.

Four Stars
Doesn't seem like it will last forever, but it does a good job.
