they fit comfortably and has solid support
I bought these shoes for my husband who has trouble finding shoes for his wide feet - he was thrilled with these shoes, they fit comfortably and has solid support. He's been wearing them for a couple months now for weekly or bi-weekly games and has had any complaints.

Protects my husbands Ankles worth every penny!
These shoes are amazing. My Husband has bad ankles and has had 2 ankle surgerys. These shoes lock down his ankle and give maxium support as well. They are stylish and are designed to prevent your ankle from rolling. His only complaint is that it does take 3 to 5 min to put them on but as he has stated not having another ankle surgery is much worth the 3 to 5 min. Putting them on. As of now since he has gotten used to putting them on and off he has gotten it down to about a minuet. I am happy we took a chance on these shoes because they have been easy one of the best sheos we could have bought for his ankles and his feet. Ektio keep up the good work!!

Ektio Men's The Alexio Ankle Support Basketball.
I take a true size 9 in a shoe/boot. I ordered the 9 Ektio and found they run a half size small. They don't offer a 9 1/2, and probably would be better off with a 10 (which would fit like a 9 1/2), but I used a very thin liner sock in the 9's and find I can get away with that size. I've rolled both ankles within the last couple weeks playing singles pickleball, and knew it was only a matter of time before I seriously sprained an ankle. Since playing in these shoes, I'm not afraid of running laterally, or quick change ups. They support my ankles, don't feel bulky,and give me the confidence of going all out without the fear of injury. I've only put 8 hrs on court so far, so time will tell if they hold up.If only they had half sizes in the smaller size shoes, hence 4 stars.

Runs 1/2 size small
Never got to use them. I'm a 12 - have been in every shoe/ sneaker for the last 25 years - these "12"'s were too small - toe hit the edge and a 12.5 was not available. Seemed solid -get the black these colors are louder than expected.

Bad Ankles no more!!
They are a pain to put on but once they are on they are the best ankle support I have ever owned. Nice looking style.

Best shoes for support
Amazing shoes, I have always had bad ankles, and with these I have never felt more secure. I find myself constantly doing things that I would previously expect to really hurt my ankles, only to find myself in no pain at all. And I can actually walk after a game where previously it was ice for 30 mins then gimp everywhere for a few days.
