New Balance Women's WID626V2 Industrial Shoe

These do not have the support that is expected from New Balance shoes. They are an o.k. shoe but I need more support as a server. More support is needed for a non slip work shoe. When I tried to buy them at my local shoe store they told me they stopped carrying them because of the lack of support. I should have listened to them!

I own several pairs of New Balance shoes and boots. They are the only shoes that fit my feet and feel comfortable all day (or evening). I bought this pair specifically for my summer job, which requires me to stand for 10 hours per day. I have been wearing them for leisure activities in order to test them for comfort. They will be perfect!

I have a hard time finding good shoes. I'm on my feet all day and I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis. I saw the V1 of this shoe recommend on several sites for people with plantar fasciitis. It was listed on other sites as a good shoe for people in the restaurant business on their feet all day. I've had the pleasure of owning one V1 and two V2s now.Let me be the first to say, this are very comfortable for someone with plantar fasciitis on their feet all day. Wearing these shoes, I haven't had a recurrence in quite awhile. They are so comfortable that this is my third pair. It's also my last pair. I give up on these shoes.You can't get it wet. I'm not talking about using it as a swim shoe here. Wearing this on wet pavement in a light drizzle starts a rather quick degrading process. Holes start appearing on the sides and bottom of the shoe almost immediately. I can't imagine in holding up working in a commercial kitchen or a restaurant's freshly mopped dining area. My second pair I lost walking through grass with dew on it.If you live in a dry climate that never sees rain, this a good shoe. As long as you're not in the restaurant business and don't mop your floors.

These shoes have a very pointed toe and are too narrow. I ordered Wide and usually wear New Balance Wide but these are too narrow.... In addition they are advertised as free returns and the return label requires postage from buyer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

I work on my feet for 10 hours a day and have had a lot of problems with my feet in the past, suffering from plantar fasciitis and just plain old soreness and knee problems. I've always needed insoles with other shoes. However, these shoes are amazing. I cannot rave enough about how comfortable they are...with no insoles! The slip resistance is top notch as well. Highly recommended!
