Chemical smell
Very strong chemical smell not in the same diapers bought from target!! I have been buying pampers pure for the last three months since my child was born. I bought every other package of the diapers at target except for this box because I needed more diapers sooner than I knew I would be able to go out and buy them. Every diaper in this package (104 diapers) has a very strong chemical smell and the smell stays on my son after the diaper is changed. It is alarming to smell this on these diapers while hundreds of diapers of the same brand bought at a local target do not have any smell. Not sure the reason for the difference but it is very concerning and causes me to think twice before buying anything for my child on amazon. Please think twice before buying on amazon.

Review about subscribe and save/receiving incorrect item. NOT about the quality of the diapers!
The diapers themselves are great and I recommend them.. very soft and lightweight while still being very absorbent. This review is about the subscribe and save program through amazon. The photo shows what it looked like as soon as I opened it - now I know some people won’t care, but it bothers me that the package was ripped open and diapers were just thrown on top to get the proper count. I get it if pampers doesn’t make a 92 count, but the listing should say this. I buy the pure because my son has a skin condition that seems to be exacerbated by regular diapers, so it just bugged me that the sealed package was torn open and it looked like the diapers thrown in were handled and exposed to who knows what allergens in their warehouse. Now, I used to work for a company with a warehouse where I would do inventory, and I know just how dusty and dirty a warehouse can be.Regardless, I was willing to look past it and maybe just not use those diapers, but then I realized they sent me size 2 instead of size 3. I know this was just human error, but I decided to immediately cancel the subscribe and save as I really don’t want to risk going through the hassle of having to return next month’s order if the same issue occurs.Considering this was my very first delivery through the subscribe and save program, it seems likely this could happen again and is not worth the trouble. Just wanted to give a heads up to any other moms out there who may have little ones with skin conditions/allergies or anyone who, like me, doesn’t have time for returns when I have a 6 month old to care for!Bottom line, I love these diapers and the quality/fit is perfect for my little man, and he seems very comfortable in them, so if you’re considering trying them, I highly recommend the diapers themselves. HOWEVER, maybe be wary and have back-ups available before you try out the subscribe and save!

Strong chemical smell!!!! Do not buy it!
I agree with Lindsay Mchugh, these diapers have very strong chemical smell. We had been using these diapers for a few months and never got any smell or rash but they were bought from CVS. This time we made a purchase at amazon and got these fake diapers. Unfortunately can’t add a photo or video with the terrible smell!

Sent opened and returned product
We’ve ordered these a few times before which is why I didn’t give itor a solid 1 star. However, the latest box we received was heavily taped which I thought was suspicious and then upon opening the box a previous purchasers return slip was sitting on top and the plastic wrapping around the diapers was torn open. Clearly diapers had been removed and then stuffed back in the plastic prior to this person returning them. This is upsetting on a 2 levels for me:1) As a parent of a 1 month old, I am reliant on products showing up and being what they should be, especially diapers.2) Again, being a parent of a 1 month old, I expect the diapers I receive to be sanitary and unopened by anyone except myself or my husband.

Not the best of pampers line
I was so excited to try Pampers new diapers, I've used pampers with all my kids and love there products but I can't say that for the pampers pure. For the amount of diapers you get for the price you would think there was something special about them. I'm sure I'm not the only one that had this problem, when you go to change the diaper it literally is stuck to the babies bottom. The first time it happened it tore a small layer of skin off so after that I would just get the part that was stuck wet and it would come off.

Pampers v Mama Bear v Andy Pandy v Costco
Overall, I prefer the Mama Bear brand of diapers when it comes to the brands listed above. The main takeaway is that the Pampers Pure does not have the band of elastic around the back of the diaper and that hampers a good fit.Fit: the Pampers Pure runs a bit large compared to other brands. Pampers is narrow but long. Andy Pandy runs VERY large. Mama Bear and Costco are similar in terms of sizing. Every baby is different obviously, but I found that having the elastic band around the back of the diaper offers a more custom fit. The Pampers Pure does not have the elastic around the back of the diaper. The gussets and tabs work fine otherwise.Leaks: pampers works just as good as Costco and Mama Bear with leaks. You will mainly get leaks from the upper legs if you don’t fasten the tabs tight enough. Andy Pandy tends to leak because it runs so large and is very wide. Pampers is more of a narrow but long diaper.Softness: Pampers is softer than Mama Bear and Costco. Andy Pandy is softer than Pampers.Scent: the Pampers Pure does not have any of that gross sweet diaper smell, which is good. Mama Bear and Andy Pandy also do not have a smell. Costco has a bit of a smell but not as bad as a Pampers Swaddler.Rashes: I did not have any issue with sensitivity to the Pampers Pure or any of the brands listed above.Blowouts: Mama Bear and Andy Pandy contain blowouts a little better because their gussets are deeper/fluffier than the Pampers Pure. The gussets on pampers are a bit shallow in comparison.Absorbency: one thing Pampers Pure does well is that it does not tend to get as bloated as Mama Bear with liquid. Somehow the Pampers stay less bloated than the Mama Bear and the Costco diapers. Andy Pandy also stays less bloated.

Excelentes!
