Romancing The '70s

Listening to so many of the wonderful songs on this excellent collection takes me back to my college days when so many of these songs played in the background while I was writing papers for my courses. Many of these songs also remind me of my early years in teaching. How I remember listening to these songs on my car radio on my way to and from school. Those were great days and with the songs on CD I can often return to those beautiful memories. This collection is a must for anyone who wants to have a collection of 70s music.

I bought other compilations of the 70's and this one is the best. The quality of the sound is better than the other compilations.It does does have hard or glam rock , but has a lot of soft rock and pop rock, and some country crossover. I am already listening to some of these cds over and over again.Getting the set on amazon is not only 1/3 cheaper, but it was presented in a nice box.If you love the 70's mainstream music, you will love this collection.

At a fraction of the price direct from Time-Life, the Amazon product is a real bargain. The songs are all extremely high quality, and they sound better than a few I've heard as MP3's.What was curious was an apparent manufacturing defect. On one disk, the songs were exactly what was listed on the CD label, however the files had completely incorrect filenames and info. Just for example, the song, "Please Come to Boston" was on the disk as the file "Make Me An Island." The final track is labeled just "Track 15" on the file directory but actually contains, "All By Myself." Thus if you want to import these into your computer (as fair use), you'll find everything all wrong unless you manually change the titles in your folder directory. I can't even imagine how that might happen!Other than that glitch, we're very happy with the product and with the vendor. Service was excellent and delivery was fast. I really like about half the tunes; my wife really likes the other half. So, there's something for everybody here.

This is, without a doubt, one of the two best 70's compilations ever released. You'll absolutely love each & every song on ROMANCING THE 70's 10 CD COLLECTION. My advice? BUY IT!!! Also buy POP GOES THE 70'S 10 CD COLLECTION which contains hit after hit of 70's pop songs, including the greatest one hit wonders. Follow my advice while comparing prices for these two fantastic 70's music collections and you won't be disappointed. Good luck!

I really enjoyed this set. I found it overlapped with another set I had bought.....but still very enjoyable for our long road trip. I can highly recommend it. I personally put them all on my computer then rearranged them to pull out just my faves. It was a good buy for the price.

This set contains my daughters favorite CD. It was lost and it is discontinued from TIME LIFE so I was so happy to find it on Amazon. Mine arrived in Mint condition.

I saw the ad on TV for this set and was impressed and bought the set. After listening to several of the discs I'm disappointed. The sound quality is very good, so if you like these songs then it's great for you. I found their choice is not what I would have chosen. If you are going to buy it make sure you do so through Amazon as it's far less expensive than from TV.
