I’m Lovin’ Lit – Interactive Vocabulary Workbook, Greek and Latin Roots and Affixes Resource Book for Grades 4–5, Ages 11–14

The content of this book is 5 stars. It is creatively done and I love the images that help the child learn the root words and concepts. I look forward to putting this together with my children and I think they will enjoy doing it.However, this is not an open and go book. In order to use it, you must make copies of the pages that are supposed to be used for the interactive notebook because the opposite side either has something else you will be cutting out, or it is instructions for the next day's work. Beyond the cost of the printer ink and paper, this is also a matter of added time. If I had realized this, I would have just gotten a digital copy of this or something similar.

I used this book in my 4th grade class this year. The kid's LOVED it!! In fact, they looked forward to each assignment. Throughout the year, when we would come to difficult words, many would quickly start dissecting the words and gaining meaning from using this book. I definitely recommend!! It is fun, active, and the learning sticks!

We homeschool and I am using this with my 4th and 6th graders. They love the interactive notebook format. A copy machine is a must for this, so you can make multiple copies, this is NOT a consumable notebook. High-quality and easy-to-use, this has become a favorite of ours. Thank you so much for a wonderful product!

This book will be a great addition to my ELA block. The directions and set up is so clear and easy to use. I have many Lovin’ Lit products purchased through her awesome Teachers pay Teachers store. I have never been disappointed. I’m sure you will not either.

Love it! I use it with my 7th grade ELA special ed class and it's a great resource!

First of all, I love the idea of this workbook and the activities are great. The problem i have is that each activity page has the directions/pictures for the next activity on the back of the page you are cutting out. We have had to take pictures of the back before doing that day’s activity to ensure we know what we are supposed to do the next day. The pages should be one sided to avoid this problem. Would not have purchased had I known this ahead of time.

Intéressée par les cahiers interactifs et autres "Leçons à manipuler", j'ai acheté ce fichier photocopiable par curiosité, dans l'idée de m'en inspirer voire de le scanner pour traduire son contenu. Je suis emballée. Il est très bien présenté, rendant le contenu très attractif, on voit tout de suite comment s'en servir en classe. Le contenu est très riche, et quasiment tout est utilisable en français (les familles de mots présentées ont toutes des racines communes au français : il va juste falloir transformer erupt en éruption ou hypothermia en hupothermie.D'autre part, mes élèves (CM) ont des petits cahiers 17x21 et ces leçons sont très adaptées aussi à ce petit format.Enfin, je suis convaincue que cette forme de leçons permettra aux élèves de mieux travailler leur vocabulaire et fixer ces mots dans leur mémoire. Franchement, le rapport qualité-prix est excellent !
