This thing is amazing!
Ok, I’m in love with this thing! When I go snorkeling with my husband I always complain because he swim a lot faster than I do but now I’m faster 😁 it’s really strong, it even pull my husband that is a big man. It’s worth the price 100%, very recommended!

This was an amazing upgrade from our older yahama and sea-doo sea scooters, but........
I have had many different retail sea scooters. Seadoo Dolphin, Seadoo GTI, Seadoo Sea scooter, Seadoo VS turbo, The Yahama Explorer, and probably others I am not recalling over the years. The Sublue Mix is by far easier to handle, faster, and lighter. I am looking at purchasing their higher end version now as I love diving and would like longer run time and even more possible speed. But this one here pulls my 200lb frame around easily and quickly with a tank on. Just has about a 30min run time.Ok, so why if I like it did I not give 5 stars you ask? Battery Price, and Charge Time. The battery price seems a little high, it comes with one 122Wh 11,000mAh battery. I picked up a 2nd and the price is (at this time) $165.00 USD each. If we compare this to the other scooters such as the Yahama and seadoo scooters they took much less expensive off the shelf batteries that could charge way quicker. I know the use of the less expensive batteries significantly added to the weight but it still feels like a premium for their batteries.

Fun water toy, it’s got the James Bond vibe going!
The media could not be loaded. This Sublue underwater scooter looked like it would be a lot of fun to use in a pool, especially for kids. Setup was very easy, simply charge the battery, put into the battery compartment and close the cover. Install the float if you want it or leave it off. If you’re using a GoPro, mount that as well. This is perfect for a pool environment, it’s not loud, so you won’t disturb others. It pulls you along the top, bottom, wherever you want. Even with the float, it’ll go under water with no problem. If you let go of the scooter, it’ll stay afloat. Speed wise, any half decent swimmer can out swim this, so it’s not going to win any races. Cruising around the pool is easy and fun, point the scooter in the direction you want to go. Up, down, turns, very intuitive to use. The battery life is okay, it lasts what the website claims, about 30 minutes of non continuous usage. The LED’s blocked red by the time we were done. One thing to note, after finishing off in fresh water, I removed the battery cover, I noticed water drops inside. It seems the battery compartment is not designed to be water resistant, instead the square box where the battery actually connects to scooter is sealed with rubber gaskets.I think this scooter would mainly be good in pools. I may try it at the beach in a river, but visibility is poor and I don’t know if this would be useful if there are currents.Overall, it’s a fun gadget to use in a pool. Probably more fun for kids/teenager vs. adults. Just be careful if you have long hair, wouldn’t want to get it stuck in the spinning blades. Probably not a likely scenario, but I can see it happening. It’s not very large, so it’s possible to even pack with you on trips.

Powerful and fun
So some specs that are of note - this can go about 3mph - plenty fast (4.4 ft/sec). Lasting about 30 min that's 1.5 miles you can travel. It has max depth of 131 ft (possibly since that is the same depth limit for rec diving), but the buoyancy fin has a max depth of 15 ft (Not sure of why this is, but it is in manual and on big sticker). Now the fun part - this thing has some torque to it! I mean it may not be fast (but you think your flying), but it will yank hard, so grip it well. This is just so much fun to use and I have wanted one all my life as a diver (I can't use at depth now due to ears - but still can snorkel.I'm also going to try laying on front of SUP and hold in water to see what happens - be creative - lol!

The kids love this!
I got this for the kids to play with in the pool and so far, they are having a blast. I would say the 30 minutes is close and the recharge time isn’t bad. The quality of the scooter is really nice. It is made of plastic with smooth edges and quality assembly. The thrust is pretty impressive and the tether makes sure that it will not get away from the little ones. Seeing how much fun the kids are having; I want to mount my GoPro and do some snorkeling to see how well it does for a larger person in open water. This is a quality scooter that is well made, I have used others that are larger and bulkier that don’t seem to outperform this one in thrust and battery longevity, so a smaller packaged scooter with the same performance is a great deal. The price is fair, if not low, compared to others on the market too.

Compact power water jets
The media could not be loaded. Packaging is excellent in terms of quality and presentation. Feels like a top tier water scooter for the money. Battery pack feels solid and is easy to install. Note that the battery cover isn’t water tight by design so water fills up the battery compartment. There’s an action camera mount that can be used with the floatation add-on or without. The float helps the scooter rise to the surface and can be used at depths of up to 5 meters. If you do not have the floater attached and a user lets go of the scooter, it can sink. The motor doesn’t instantly turn on when pulling both triggers, there’s a slight delay and it eases quickly into full power. The two jets feel equally powerful and it definitely feels strong to pull adults with ease. The fit and finish feels modern space age and the only part that feels awkward is the suction cup that helps hold the floater in place.Lots of fun and easy to maneuver. Picks up speed quickly and has good pulling forces. There’s LED power level indicators and includes a trickle charger with AC plug.
