Depends on what you're looking for ...
I'm a librarian, and have been a school librarian. I was looking for a book to help my daughter understand the lockdown drills her school is doing now that she's in kindergarten. I bought this one but immediately sent it back. It was more like a story about kids in a Lockdown Drill and how they have trouble staying quiet. It wasn't even clear to me that it was trying to educate kids about lockdown drills. I did not find it well written or useful.

Excellent book for school library!
This book explains the purpose of school lockdowns in a funny, non-frightening way! The school district that I work in has police officers come in and read this book, along with the other 2 in the set, to the new kindergarteners every year!! I would highly recommend and would definitely buy this book again!!

Great book!
I read this to my Pre K through 2nd Grade students. They were very engaged and excited to practice our own lock down drill!

A miss for me
It wasn’t what I wanted it to be. Yes, it will open the door for conversation. But I wanted it to explain a scary thing in a less threatening way.

Great Intro Book
I think this book is excellent doe Preschool to Kindergarten students as an introduction to what happens during a lockdown drill. It starts a hard conversation in a relatable way to children.Hannah Carmona Dias, Author
