It contains all 66 books of the Bible; 3 disks for the OT and 1 disk for the NT. The original New Testament was in Greek and this is translated/read in Hebrew. This is a bonus! Some other Hebrew Bibles advertised contains only the Jewish Tanakh or Old Testament only.Note: To open the files on the disks in the folder view reveals that the books/chapters are written in both English and Hebrew. Great for ID3 tags on displays.The professional native speakers pronounce the words very clearly and distinctively while the background music and sound effects are by no means overpowering or distracting and enhances the reading very effectively. The variety of speakers interact and do the narrative in what one might describe as a dialog style and to me encourages learning the language and makes it very exciting to listen to.Now; I am learning the Hebrew language through text books and audio lessons, self-taught. If you approach it from a total immersion standpoint, this Hebrew language Bible is a great asset! The total immersion technique was used during World War 2 where foreign language speakers were necessary and the USA didn’t trust native speaking people for being potential spies. The classroom environment didn’t allow speaking in English at all therefore likened to a small child learning their parent’s tongue by not being exposed to any other and is true for all nationalities. The military found this method to be the most effective with amazing results in the learning curve of speed and accuracy.I am very impressed with the overall excellent quality of the entire work in this set!Side note: It was sent from Israel by “Registered Priority Mail” the same day the order was placed and arrived in VA in only 12 days. I rarely like to mention prices but at the time of this review this set was $10.00 ‘US’ cheaper than another Old Testament only set making this an outstanding offer. Shalom!!

This is very helpful when learning to read the Old Testament in Hebrew. I don't speak the language so I bought this to help me with my pronunciation.This contains the entire Old Testament on 3 cds. Keep in mind these cds have a lot of data and you'll need a special CD player that plays mp3 formatted cds. Not just any old CD player will play them. Most stores don't sell CD players anymore so you'll probably have to get one on-line. Some computers and DVD players also play mp3 formatted cds.The OT is read clearly and not too quickly and also uses a variety of voice-over actors so it doesn't get monotonous.The cds are also formatted well for the convenience of the user. For instance the book of Genesis is in folder one and each chapter has its own track. So the 12th chapter of Genesis would be folder one track 12, the 4th chapter of Exodus would be folder 2 track 4 and so on. Also at the beginning of each chapter the narrator says the book and chapter number (in Hebrew).These cds are entirely in Hebrew without any English. Also no instruction booklet comes with them but even though I'm a beginner I can pretty much follow along with my zondervan Hebrew bible, a Hebrew lesson book, and a bible in English.So far I haven't run across any glitches and am very happy with my purchase.

You have to buy it to feel perfect in pronouncing
