suck uk eat me cookie stamper.
the packaging was very inadequate. the postoffice had had to re pack it in a plastic bag as the cardboard wrapper, similar to that in which books are sent, had burst open and the stamper was poking out "incredible hulk" like.i am a chef and took the stamper to work with me,(made 5 dozen) the silicone stamp is easy to take off ,clean and replace. i followed the recipe included with the stamper and came to the conclusion that a neater result is obtained by either placing a ball of biscuit dough in a circular biscuit cutter and then using the stamp to flatten the dough or to make a dough that is rolled out ,cut with a biscuit cutter and then stamped through the cutter to hold a neat biscuit shape. using the stamper on it's own gives a raggedy edge and an offset message, nothing wrong in that.it's nice easy to use and quirky. i ve been given another as a gift and since then have found them cheaper in the shops!!i will use it again (probably in the summer when i do garden fetes)

Gives baking that extra little (or very big) something
I am a baker at heart and I am always making gifts for other people and designing new recipes. So this product I was excited about as it could add another dimension to my gifts. Plus it's a baking gadget... how could I refuse it?!It arrived promptly and I was so excited to start using it.It comes with a helpful sugar cookie recipe written inside the label witch would be great if handed over as a gift. The handle feels great in the hand, feels good quality and it well tuned and shaped. Also the silicone stamp comes off for easy cleaning too.I think my only issue with this product is it's size. I have a feeling it's just me but I find it just a little big. I usually make cookies that are a nice small size (maybe two bites)and this cookies will make much larger cookies, I would have preferred it to be half its size. But at the end of the day, who's going to complain about having cookies that are too big???A lovely product.

Very pleased.
I followed the recipe that was included and I found no problems, the only thing I changed about the recipe was that I rolled the mixture by hand into balls and placed on the (lightly greased) baking tray, rather than rolling the biscuits in flour on a worktop, I then firmly pressed the cookie stamp onto each one dipping the stamp gently in flour approx. every second cookie. The mix made 22 biscuits and I found the stamp just the right size.I usually make biscuits this way as I find it so much easier than trying to roll out and lift onto a baking tray, especially if using this item, as the writing otherwise just ends up distorted and not very neat looking.Don't leave above a couple of minutes on the tray after baking as they will stick and end up crumbling into pieces (metal fish slice/wide spatula best for this job.)As for washing it I didn't have a problem either, I removed the silicone bit and washed by hand and just wiped the wood handle so as not to wet it too much.Perfect professional looking biscuits !

Excellent quality baking tool.
At first I thought this product was a tad overpriced because lets face it, who wants to pay £8.49 for a cookie stamp. However I went ahead and purchased this because I knew it would make the perfect gift for a family member. When the stamp arrived I was very pleasantly surprised. The stamp handle is made of lovely smooth wood, and the actual stamp part is made of good quality thick red rubber. The whole thing is very well made and sturdy, I now understand the price. This stamp is perfect for when you've made a batch of cookies, but you can't be bothered to spend lots of time decorating them. A quick stamp with this product is all you need for effortless and effective decoration. It also shows that the cookies were handmade, which would be a great conversation starter if you were taking the cookies along to a party or something like that. I really recommend this product.

Huge success
The biscuit stamp is good quality, with a lovely wooden handle and a silicon stamp face. It was much large than I expected though, only a huge biscuit could hold it.I think I will experiment with stmping an allover design on to the dough and then cutting the biscuits, so that the design appears as a modern collage of the "home made" logo when I want to make average sized biscuits.I think the product description should include the size of the item.Rosemary,London.

The cookie stamp is a good idea and the message is fun
The cookie stamp is a good idea and the message is fun. The item is also well made. Trial and error on best time to use Deffo not before cooking as biscuit just reforms in the heat - yes of course I knew that......well I do now

Would by again
Arrived in good time, was fun to use , larger than I thought it might be & the recipe it came with is yummy be warned tho there's a LOT of butter in this one, I swopped the 2tsp of vanilla extract for 1/2tsp of lorAnn oil (vanilla butternut) & don't forget to flour dust the stamp before each cookie stamp! I baked them a little longer then the recipe said, turned out good & can't wait to experiment with some food colouring

Nothing wrong with it, but overpriced
I followed the recipe provided with the stamp - it worked okay, but I am a bit disillusioned, I guess I expected more from this product. You have to constantly keep dipping it in flour to prevent it from sticking to the dough, and every few cookies I had to stop and clean out the dough from some of the letters with a toothpick. Don't think I'd pay nearly £10 for something like this again. £6 or less would be more appropriate.
