This machine doesn't work. I bought it to vacuum seal meat for the sous vide. It will seal one side but if there is a drop of liquid in the bag, (hello, I'm putting beef in there. Of course there will be liquid) it won't seal the second side. More aggravation than it's worth. Easier to use a ziplock in the sous vide.

I bought this a year ago and rarely seal anything unless I hit a big box store or to store dried mushrooms, the sealer and vacuum function never quite worked properly. When I try to vacuum seal a wet item using the vacuum seal option on wet, it will appear to be vacuuming the steak but after about a minute or two I start to get nervous that it wasn’t working, so I cancelled it and yup, never worked. So now in order to vacuum seal anything I have to hit the vacuum seal, watch it get nice and closed up then hit cancel quick and the seal bottom. This still isn’t a perfect solution as it isn’t completely vacuum sealed, but it’s marginally better than a zip lock. I would steer clear of this product. Also on the seal function when taking the bag off the machine it will rip the seal part- no good!

This unit doesn't seal automatically after vacuuming the air out. But I didn't want the hassle of sending it back as I had too much to get stored right then. So I remove the air and then hit seal and it works OK.

i've learn the "food sealer " from my friend, he use it to seal the food and store it in the freezer, and store the dry fruits.so i got one for my mom. ! guess what. she's been using it none stop since she got it. now i ran out of the sealing rolls. i am buying more. well. it works same as the one my friend got. called food saver. owell. it's cheaper and same thing.mom like it, no complaint.

So far this this Vacuum Sealer has been great. If you take the time to read the instructions you’ll love all the features. Super tight seal to use with our Sous Vide Supreme that we bought at the same time.

This was a horrible product. I got it for my stepson for Christmas. It didn’t work right. Wouldn’t close properly, wouldn’t vacuum seal. Unfortunately, he got so upset with it that he threw it in the trash. I wish he had saved it so I could have returned it. Save your money. Buy something else.

Great for holidays. Needed a new vacuum sealer with all the cooking done. Seems to work as good as previous one that I had. So far no complaints.
