Got two of these for our teenage boys (ages 15 and 18) for Christmas and they have been terrific! Solidly made. Easy to control and brake. Folds up easily for transport and storage. Carry strap is handy. Great on packed snow, not so good on loose powder. They can really fly on a good slope. The envy of the sledding hill.

The ski doesn’t curve enough Nor is it long enough in front so it’s constantly grabbing And biting the snow sending your child face first in the snow

Purchased 2 of these for my kids, unfortunately 1 of the scooters was faulty on delivery however, after contacting Railz they were very helpful with arranging a replacement. Kids love the scooter, great fun in the winter time.

Not your typical sled. It's a little trickier to use than a sled but that's what makes it so fun! It goes fast so wear a helmet!

Gave to my grandkids... they loved them and can't wait for snow.

We live in MN where we have snow for 6-8 months out of the year. We only have about 4 months of weather that's good for a regular scooter so this seemed like a better buy since you can use it for more of the year here. I got this for my son's 10th birthday because he loves scooters and he loves playing outside in the winter in the snow (I hate doing that and always have but, he loves it... he didn't get it from me that's for sure) He couldn't wait to get outside and try this out! He had a lot of fun with it and his friends all thought it was pretty cool too.Though this is similar to a traditional scooter it doesn't quite work the same. So for example we had enough snow in our yard that we have little hills that have been compacted and hardened. This scooter went down most of them with ease but if it encounters too sharp an angle the back will dig into the snow and slow or stop. If the angle is more gentle it's fine. It won't glide easily over a flat surface like the street. If will go but it's not fast and it requires a lot pushing unlike a traditional scooter which with one push off can usually make it most of the way down the street. On some of the larger hills this is more fun because you can turn and direct your scooter down the hill. Even if you go straight though it doesn't seem quite as fast as most sleds and toboggans. It's a little pricey I think but it was worth it if my son continues to get as much use out of it as he's been getting.
