Different colour from picture, but the cord itself is as described
I bought this satin rattail cord for making kumihimo (a form of traditional Japanese braiding) bracelets and it works well for that purposes. I ordered the colour Fuchsia, which had looked somewhat purple in the picture, but the product I received honestly looks more like a shade of red. That happens sometimes, of course, colours will vary, but I wouldn’t call it a slight variation. It is almost an entirely different colour. I do wonder if perhaps the colour had the wrong label and I was shipped the wrong thing, as it looks somewhat similar to the image for the maroon cord. The colour isn’t bad, but it won’t be a favourite either. I had loved the colour in the image for Fuchsia, so I do hope the label was just wrong and should I order the colour again, it might look a little closer to the picture.Having bought satin cord before (from riverside beads) and loving the feel of it, this product was a little disappointing in that regard, it’s not nearly as smooth and feels slightly coated with something, leaving an odd feeling on the hands (but perhaps this is just a sensory thing). It isn’t bad enough to put me off buying again, though, and it does seem to improve a little after braiding it. On the other hand, this cord seems to have the advantage when it comes to holding knots. The satin cord I had previously fell short with this, and the knots would slide and loosen as soon as you’d tied them, perhaps due to the smoothness of the cord. This made me a little sceptical when reading the description for this item, which stated it could be tied in good knots that don’t come loose. To my surprise, though, this product can actually hold knots pretty well and might be suitable for some knotting projects. I’m not sure if it would be a first pick for such things though. The delivery was good, and the product arrived on time the day after ordering. There wasn’t much in the way of packaging, just the spool of cord with a plastic wrap around it (and a sticker stating what the product is) in an oversized amazon box (nothing new there). For the price, which is currently a little over half the price of similar products found on amazon, I can overlook the odd feeling and will probably buy again some time. Should the colour difference become a recurring issue or the price increase, though, I may end up looking elsewhere.Product: LEREATI Satin Cord 1.5mm x 100m Nylon Cord Bracelet Thread Rattail Silk CordColour: FuchsiaPrice at time of purchase: £5.99Edit: Have since bought two more colours: Coffee (£7.49 at the time of purchase) and Khaki (£6.99 at the time of purchase).

Seems like good quality cord.
This product arrived very quickly and seems to be of good quality. This sting was used to repair a wind chime for one of my in-laws as all of the original cords had broken. This string is slightly heavier than the original so hopefully it will last longer outside this time.
