Works great. But almost didn't fit.
The bulb seems to work just fine. Nice and bright. However, I did have an issue. My projector is the BenQ W1070 and this bulb almost doesn't fit. It's the rim of the bulb itself: Around the rim is a raised ridge which is what the metal holding tabs in the cartridge will grab on to in order to keep the bulb in place. For this bulb, the rim is too wide (or too high, depending on how you want to look at it). This causes the metal holding tabs to be at an awkward angle. It complicates the installation of a bulb which is already a little complicated to install.I am quite handy with tools, so I was able to work at it for about 45 minutes and get this thing into the cartridge. But I would not recommend this bulb for anyone who is not handy with tools or gets frustrated easily. This bulb should have been a ten minute ordeal to switch out. I give four stars based on price mainly - as a value for the money, it's a fantastic bulb for $30 but do not attempt this on your own unless you enjoy a project or have someone at home who does.UPDATE: It's been a few days now with the new bulb installed. I have noticed that it takes a little longer to warm up than the other bulbs that I have tried. Perhaps a full minute to reach peak brightness. Not a deal breaker and I still give four starts based on value.

Good Product.
Good Product. It's just as described. It isn't the full housing so be prepared to disassembled the whole projector. I had to do it anyways to remove the shards of glass when my lamp exploded.

Great bulb!
This will be my fifth replacement bulb for my benq w1070. Ever bulb I’ve purchased has been from a different manufacturer and I’ve had similar results(I replace about every 12 months or so)As time gone by the price of bulbs have reduced from my first replacement at $150 to this one at $40. It works exactly as the rest 8). Great packaging, fast flawless install, and a bright image!

Not an Exact fit for BenQ W1070 but will work
As another reviewer noted, this bulb isn't an exact fit for a BenQ W1070. With some extra effort, you can get the bulb secured but it will take some coaxing. The brackets that hold it in place will be a little wonky. As long as you're prepared for a little challenge, it's a great value and appears to work great for me.
