Lights, sounds, and ink work fine
I've been using one of the pens for over a week and so far so good. You can even slip the battery protector plastic back into the unicorn head to preserve battery life. My only concern would be giving the pens to small children -- the light is quite intense if you look directly at it.

Unicorn Pens & Key Chain
Received the Unicorn Pens, but did not receive the key chain. The picture showed that there would be a pink, purple & blue pen, but we received (2) Blue & (1) Purple. All the pens were not working properly. The light flashes for a second & disappears. There is no sound. Plus the outer plastic of the pens does not stay together so that you can write. Very disappointed!! DO NOT BUY!
