Very fine reel for the price
Been fishing going on 40 years now, have seen em all, reels, rods, lures, takes something really outstanding to get my undivided attention when it come to this tackle, this fish drop spinning reel really got my attention !! Ultralight, smooth as silk, just a fine made spinning reel. As good or even better than the marque named fishing tackle one sees advertised, my purchase was the BE1000 going To really enjoy bass fishing down here in south Florida with this reel, great quality, great delivery time at a superior price for this reel.

No12 bearings.
12 ball bearings? No. There's only 4 bearings. Not much protection from elements either. But cheap and looks nice. Will post update. Using for saltwater.Update. This reel is hard to crank.. small fish will get you tired fast. It works at least for one outing.One year update. Rusting... -1 star.

Sweet reel
Just took it out of the box and so far it seems like its good quality. Im about to put the braided line on and take the kayak out on the lake to test everything out.Pt2Still works great, I have given this reel to my youngest daughter for practice and fishing. It casts really good for a cheap spinning reel. I've officially switched to baitcaster reel nows. Anyways good cheap reelOh yeah btw the only part of this transaction that wasn't perfect was that Amazon told me I would have this product by Saturday, which is really the only reason I bought the reel. Anyways it's all good there was a hurricane and I know that had some effect on the shipping n delivery. Still so far 5 stars, if I can edit my review later I will give my opinion about how the reel works in action.

Horrible
This reel is junk it broke on my first coho salmon and the bearings sound like they are made with sand. Horrible dont waste your time or money! I put 3 stars because i wanted to make sure people see this.

cheap price for a cheap reel
Finally got the reel and took it out for some bass fishing. I casts it out about 20x, top water and all of sudden. The reel broke on me. Well, you get what you pay for. Returning the reel for my money.

This reel is smooth and seems perfect for 8lb line. I loved it so much I bought a second one and can't wait to try it out. seems to be well made but time will tell.

Surprisingly Good
Pretty happy with this reel, casts smooth, decent drag, feels balanced with the Abu G rod I matched it to.Use it mostly to pitch sinko's and casts light weight swim baits on a 8 lbs line.

Replace screws to improve saltwater resistance.
Smooth fresh water reel. Seller said it was rated for saltwater. First trip out screws began rusting. Would be greatly improved if st. St. Steel screws were used. Cheap fix to greatly improve reel. If seller wants to bump up the quality, send me st. Steel screws for the 3 reels I bought and I'll gladly field test the reels in saltwater for them.
