TuparGo DX18 USB Powered Computer Speakers with Headphone Jack,10W Peak Power Apply To Any 3.5mm Port-Equipped Media Players(Black)

We bought these speakers hoping to upgrade the dismal sound produced by built-in monitor speakers. We were not looking for audiophile quality, booming base, or high volume amplified speakers, and the TuparGos were satisfactory in every way.The speakers are small, and attractive. The right speaker has a volume control/on-off switch and a headphone jack with a very tiny blue LED light to let you know when it is on. The usb power source cable and 3.5mm audio jack cable make setup simple. The speakers are hardwired to each other, and ours are placed on either side of a monitor at maximum distance, about 26” apart (center to center). The usb and 3.5mm jack cables are also hardwired, so if your hookup distance is excessive you can just buy common extension cables (not a problem for us).I tried hooking up these speakers to an older, high-quality Dell XPS laptop via its headphone jack, and to a desktop gaming computer with a high-end ASUS gaming motherboard (using its onboard audio, not a sound card). In both cases the audio quality exceeded expectations, and the volume was more than sufficient for playing games or listening to casual music while sitting in front of the computer.Although we bought these speakers for the laptop, I temporarily disconnected a very old, high-quality Altec Lansing speaker system from our ASUS desktop to see how the TuparGos would compare. The disconnected Altec system has a large a subwoofer and two satellite speakers, about the same size as the TuparGos. As expected, there was no way the little speakers could reproduce the heavy base of the Altec Lansing subwoofer. Surprisingly, though, I think the TuparGos equaled the Lansing satellites in quality of sound.The TuparGo’s packaging was nice, Amazon’s delivery took only two days, and unless you expect the moon for twenty-two bucks, it’s hard to see how you can go wrong.

This product unfortunately did not suit my need. I was looking for PC speakers with volume control and headphone jack. Although this product has both of these, the volume control does not control the volume coming out of the headphone jack. This fact is mentioned in a little card inserted in the product and, if the picture is magnified with high resolution, may be found on the 6th photograph placed on the left-hand side of the product description page. Unable to see that I bought and returned the product. So my review does not apply to all other aspects of the product.

I bought these speakers for my computer despite some reviewers saying they had fuzzy sound, or went bad early. For me, so far, they've been great. I don't play them loud, so can't tell how durable they'd be if ridden hard. At moderate volumes, regardless of the audio manager setting, they really deliver!

I paired these with a new flat screen TV with absolutely terrible audio. The TV is an extra off my kitchen so spending too much on a sound bar would have been overkill. These couldn't have been easier to hook up and improved the TV sound 200%. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Don't expect a symphony, but do expect great sound coming out of these little speakers. I now have three sets on my most used computers. Those that have complained about that little blue LED must not be very smart. A little dab of nail polish, a little piece of tape, or just some spit and bubble gum can solve this. As for me, I like the little blue light.

Got these to got with a desktop computer I got for basic office type use - these are not really for gaming. They have enough power to give you good solid sound but nothing special. They are corded so there are three wires involved, one between the two speakers, one to the USB port for power and one to the audio out for sound. They look good as well.

Cute little speakers. The volume doesn't go up very high and the quality of the sound fits the price paid. Wish the cords on the speakers were longer or not there at all (wifi), but I got what I paid for.

i bought this speaker for my computer. it works properly, once i turn it on max im able to heard the sounds cracking. overall, its still good enough for me.
