I LOVE, this product. I know my review looks long, but I believe it will help you to decide if this product is right for you.1. This is a tinted sunscreen. That means it’s tinted to avoid the white cast such a high SPF sunscreen can sometimes leave behind. It is not a foundation product and will not offer coverage. It will make your skin look lovely and glow-y, however. Don’t get this expecting any noticeable coverage, though.2. There is a lot of silicone in this product. Personally, I love what silicones do for my skin and adore how they feel. If you are not down with silicone, this product is not for you.3. This product will not leave you looking matte all day. You will have a slight glow-y sheen that lasts all day. The first time I used this, I saw that sheen one hour after application and thought “Great! I’m going to look like an oil slick by the end of the day!” But, I didn’t. You will just look beaming all day long. If you want a product that makes you look totally matte, this is not the one for you.4. You will need to double-cleanse at the end of the day. This stuff is tenacious (which is good!), but you will need to either double-cleanse with an oil cleanser first or use a Clairsonic and a very strong cleanser. If you don’t want to go through the hassle, this is not your ideal sunscreen, then.Having said all that, I love, LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff. I was a loyal Shiseido user for years, then they changed the formula and added alcohol. I truly feel like this product is a life raft. It’s even better than the Shiseido SPF (Shiseido was skimpy with the antioxidants) and it makes my skin look lovely. I adore this product and hope they never stop making it.

Not sure how to rate this product as I LOVE the actual cream, HATE with a PASSION the new packaging. This is the second time I've tried the new blue tube with the "pump". In the past, they had a beige squeeze tube with just a fine tip.A. The pump does not work properly. Only intermittently will it dispense the cream. When it does, it sputters. Hitting the mirror, clothes, floor, hair, everywhere. So I unscrew the pump part but that can get messy also.B. You can't get all the product out with this new design.C. The product itself is great if you like a silicone based tinted cream.

This product is my absolute favorite. It’s a fantastic sunscreen that mattifies my skin, evens tone, doesn’t break me out, and seems to contribute to my overall skin health. However, what’s the deal with the new fancy packaging that ruins the product?? The old packaging was awesome; easy to use and control how much product you dispense and you could squeeze out every last drop. The new pump packaging barely works and when it does it shoots the product into my sink instead of neatly on my fingertip where it’s actually useful. Then, when the tube starts to run low, the pump does nothing. So you’re left with a TON of product that is lost in the tube forever. PLEEEEASE go back to the old packaging! I’ve stopped using this product due to this issue and instead use the MDSolarSciences regular tinted mineral sunscreen even though it’s only SPF 30.

I have bought this twice and love the product - it goes on smoothly with velvet feel and with a slight coverage. But I absolutely HATE the packaging - whoever designed that should try to use it him/herself to "field test it". I end up not using the pump as nothing comes out and just twist open the cap and scope the product out that way...Won't buy it again unless the packaging is improved.

This is an all-around excellent product. It has high SPF, goes on very smooth and soothing with absolutely ZERO stinging, which is a rarity for my senstive skin, and leaves a natural matte finish. I was scared by how dark the product looked before I applied it but the tint blends right in even when applied generously - best of all, there's no orange or yellow hue to it so it won't leave you looking like a jaundice patient. It gives just enough coverage to help tone down any redness or discoloration. And it doesn't sweat off on hot days. I use a setting powder over this (Kat Von D Lock It powder) and my face is good to go.The pump is useless, by the way. I unscrew the cap and squeeze it straight out of the tube.The only downside: it's REALLY tough to remove. I have to double cleanse (oil cleanser plus foam cleanser) and check closely to make sure I got it all off. I didn't deduct a star for this, though, because long-lasting wear is what you want in a sunscreen and primer. Just be really diligent with your cleansing routine and it should be okay.

This product is great, I sometimes just wear it as make up it has smooth coverage, super soft, and doesn't have a bad smell. The only complaint is that the silicon in the product dries out my skin and the pores on my nose appear to be bigger. My face even started peeling it got so dry! I put on a super thick moisturizer prior to using this and it seems to have solved the problem.

Not oily like most SPF bb creams! I have tried lots of tinted sunscreens/bb/cc cream. Compared to La Roche-Posay Rosaliac CC Cream, this product has higher SPF, better coverage (over my blemishes & dry skin) and consistency (it's matte, like a primer!), and it feels soft on my face! The tint in light/medium is more subtle, which is better for my pinkish skin than the usual orangey color my face looks w/ other tinted sunscreens.

I'm obsessed with MD Solar Sciences products! I use the Tinted Mineral Cream daily. Thought I'd give this s try and I'm so happy I did!! I am an Esthetician who knows her stuff and I'm telling you the anti aging ingredients in these products are superb and very results oriented. Also it has a perfect light weight coverage and evens out my tone 😍
