The Schlage Encode is a mortise lock with a dead bolt. As long as it covers the opening left by removing the existing lock and it clears the door handle, you should be able to use it.

The Schlage will generally be a direct replacement for a Manual Deadbolt as the mounting dimensions are standard. There might be a slight difference in diameter of the Latch Barrel part with the Schlage part being a slightly larger diameter. This can be easily solved by modifying the door using standard hand tools such as a Drill or a Coarse File..
