I've had this system in use for several years under full weather exposure, and it actually has been surprisingly durable. With one exception, the connections have held up (although I did seal them when I assembled the set) - so wind hasn't hurt them. The white substrate of the flex circuits has yellowed a bit under the sunlight, but doesn't seem to have deteriorated otherwise. And the extremes of heat and cold haven't seemed to affect any of the parts. The LEDs seem to be plenty bright. The only disappointments are that certain colors that I'd like are not programmed into the controllers, and the remotes are a bit unreliable, and require a lot of TLC. After some initial issues with the adhesive strips during assembly, the LED strips have stayed attached with no apparent problems. I did take the precaution of ty-rapping the ends of the strips to their supporting frames - to help avoid them pulling loose due to wind, etc. I've been satisfied so far.

At first I was happy to see the quality of the product. It was well packaged, all the items were in the box, set up appeared to be easy. The lights were bright and looked to be of high quality. I was excited to set them up. I prepared my area, I cleaned the surface with alcohol, I was good to go. The adhesive on the back of the lights was pretty sticky so I had confidence it would hold. I applied the lights to the surface and all was good. I can back an hour later to find they pretty much all came unstuck! This was a bummer since it took me about an hour to set it all up. The lights and remote are good, the adhesive sucks! The adhesive strip actually started coming off the back of the lights. So I reapplied them and another hour later they were back off. I came to the definitive conclusion that they adhesive is a total failure! Rather than going through the entire process of packaging everything back up to get a refund and order more and have the same result I just used rubber cement on the surface and reapplied the led strips. 2 days later and they are still up. So don’t buy these unless you plan on using your own glue to keep them up. I will say this, the lights do look good. Good colors and options on the remote.

I hung my lights under my kitchen cabinets today and they're absolutely beautiful! However, installation was tricky. The tape on the back of the strip wouldn't stick to anything. Yes, I thoroughly cleaned the area I was to stick the lights to. The tape wouldn't even stick to paper. Definitely not 3M Tape. I broke out my hot glue gun and glued 32 feet of lights under my cabinets. Easy fix. I am VERY delighted with the appearance of my kitchen now. Would buy again...... but also order more glue sticks as well. :)

Got lights for my teenagers birthday. I Cleaned area very well and waited until it dried. I Put the lights along the top of all four walls. It stuck for 20 minutes before falling down. I Went and bought double sided scotch adhesive tape and did the process over. It stuck for a week Before falling down again.Another Issue was, When I bought another set of lights too finish the bedroom, after connected properly the lights were a different shade from the previous lights installed. So when it was put on red they had two different shades of red.

32ft covered almost every wall of my daughter's room which was more than enough to light it up perfectly. The different colors and mode are awesome and she loves them. The one huge downside is the adhesive, didn't last 4 hours before all 32ft came down.

Wow....we order one set and these are outstanding. We went back and ordered two more sets. They do every color and they flicker and go slow. There is so many functions to these lights. They are truly amazing

The problem is the 4 pin connectors. They fall apart with the slightest tap. I tried tape to no avail. Don't expect a product that works for more than a few occasions.

Product very cheap, get what u pay for, very disappointed.installed them and within a hour they feel down on top of everything to the point I could not salvage them. Had to throw out. Waste of money.Purchased a different manufacture monthe before and have had no problems,
