Every time I try fish oil, I burp fish oil all day, even ones that say burpless. I thought I would try Krill Oil instead. I was also looking for Astaxanthin to help with dry eyes. I do have osteoarthritis of the knees but I'm taking this more to get my daily fats in. I am currently only taking one a day instead of two to get my body used to it. No side effects that I can tell. I will stay on it and see what happens! Thanks!

I bought this product because it is made with EVOO; I take it for macular degeneration, it crosses the retina barrier and collects in the macula...my research has revealed Astaxanthin is the most powerful antioxidant that one can take...just started taking it...I want to see if it corrects the wavy lines on the Amsler Grid. Rating will follow in 2 months.Have been taking this product Helios Astaxanthin for2 months now .Today is 9/3/19. Last week I saw my ophthalmologist for quarterly visit. My eyesight in both eyes improved from 20/30 to 20/25. This is a big deal for me. Will continue with same product.

I like the easy to swallow gel pill. Since I take other supplements daily it is hard to judge the validity of any significant pain relief. I no longer experience joint pain in my knees. As a pool owner and fair skin, I have not experienced any sun burn while taking this supplement and I have not had to use sun screen while spending an hour or so outdoors. I enjoy that because I don’t like having to apply sunscreen every time I’m around the pool.

I tried a number of brands, but I like the Helios the most. Tiny and easy to swallow. I usually get sunburned even while wearing and reapplying sunscreen every 2 hours, and on our beach vacation this year, it was the first time I didn't get burned at all! I contacted Helios and they source the astaxanthin in Washington State. I also appreciate that it comes in cold pressed extra virgin olive oil and there isn't any added Vitamin E. Very High Quality!

I think it takes about a month to realize the benefits; but I haven't experienced any bad effects; so that's a positive. This was the best deal on the product, and the seller seems on top of their transactions here. So I'll be back in 30 days for a complete review. So far so good.

I didn't review this product until I reached six weeks of taking astaxanthin. I have fibromyalgia and I truly believe it has helped. I'm not totally pain free but I can tell the difference. My mother has macular degeneration and very dry eyes. Her dr. said it wouldn't hurt to try this. Hopefully when she returns for her check up we'll have good news

I am taking this for inflammation. So far I haven't noticed a difference, but I want to continue taking it to see if it makes a difference. Thank you. Alice
