Not rain proof , Will not repel water
I bought the ruff sack for a one time use . My wife my son , my sons girlfriend and I planned a vacation from our home in the panhandle of Florida to show my Family where I grew up in Michigan . We rented a quad cab truck with a comfortable ride with our luggage and valuables safe in the ruff sack I bought off line . A beautiful vacation until our return home . We were not out of Michigan yet when we stopped for breakfast at a well known restaurant know for its southern homestyle cooking. While we were eating our breakfast it began to rain and when we finished our breakfast and was climbing back into our rental truck to finish the next 1000 plus miles , my son says dad even though it only rained a few minutes are you not glad you bought that cargo carrier referring to the ruff sack. I said yes , because without it everything would be destroyed by a few minutes rain . After driving straight home and from that point the skys were clear and the weather was hot . When we finely arived home the following morning about 3:40 am and started to unload the ruff sack only to find that everything was soaking wet , hot and smelly from the few minutes rain and hours of sun baking on it . All of our Grocery were destroyed and everything else was wet and smelly including our pillows we planned on using to sleep on from the long drive . So if anyone is buying a ruff sack thinking that it will protect their valuables from rain please look elsewhere for this ruff sack didn't even repel the water and sure was not waterproof .

Not the best but still holds up
Well as for the overall size of this and what it can hold it does a great job, the zippers make it simple to close up. However I did run into rain on my trip and some of my stuff got wet, the downside of zippers I suppose. So I rated it lower because water was able to get in. I had to make sure to put bags over some of my stuff even within this. But for the price it still did the job I needed it to do and kept stuff from taking to the wind.

works great, but you need to buy the bungee corsd to secure it seperately
We bought this for my husbands Dodge Ram. He loves it. It stays in place and keeps everything dry. He uses it for the boys hockey bags during our windy, wet and snowy Chicago winter. Only cons are that it doesn't come with the bungee cords to secure it in the bed or the cargo net needed to keep it in place. Product description didn't say that items to secure bag in place need to be purchased separately. We found out once we received the cargo bag and read the instructions. Now that we have all the items needed, it does work great. Thank you.

Spacious and easy to tie down - but use a net to keep it from billowing
This eliminates the need for a bed cover for me when I am carrying items that I want to keep out of the wind or rain. It's easy to install and fills a 5 ft truck bed. Strap it down from corner to corner and use a cargo net to insure a quiet and flutter free ride. Its top layer will catch the wind and billow at interstate speeds.

ruffsack 6ft truck bed cargo bag
not a bad bag for less than $75, would hold a lotof stuff. the down side of it is I thought it said waterproof it might be water resistant ,but if you hold it up to the light you can see that if is porous. I wouldn't trust it in the rain unless I had a water proof cover over the top of it.

Great buy!
This was great to have in the bed of our truck for our trip! We got the 6ft size even though we have the long 8ft bed and still had plenty of room! The bag holds a ton of stuff! We had 6 luggage bags, plus a double stroller, small cooler, and plenty of other accessory bags. We got it to keep our luggage dry, clean, and to not have to worry about anything flying out, and to detour anyone with sticky fingers from grabbing something while we were inside somewhere. Definitely a good buy! But one note: it did not come with the tie downs to hold it in. So you will need at least 4 Bungy cords or tie down straps

Needs a
I got it cause it was suppose to be waterproof well it didn’t work under a huge thunder storm rain came in the zipper but it worked for a storage so people couldn’t see what I had in the back of my truck at the Condo. I’m going to and snap buttons to help

Not bad
Not what I expected, it's basically a tarp sack. It was very big, it filled the entire length of my bed and between the wheel wells. I suspect that under rainfall, that moisture would soak to the inside as it does on a tarp. It's fairly heavy duty. All in all, it kept my luggage and Xmas presents safe and intact over a 3.5 hr drive and through a snowy mtn pass. My truck is a gmc sierra 1500 crew cab with a 5.5 ft bed.
