Great value in a handy little flashlight. Cycles between hi / low main main beam, work light, flashing work light with each click or press of the button. Main beam is adjustable from flood to spot and is plenty bright for a utility light. The work light puts out a surprisingly even and useful light. Uses only one AA battery and is compact enough for purse or pocket.If I had one complaint it would be that the unit will power on cycling to the next function in the above function list and not on the same function it was using when last turned off. This means if you were using the work light when you turned off the light, it will next turn on in the strobe function. While this is annoying at times, for the money I can live with it. I’ve gotten in the habit of switching to stobe mode when I turn off the light so that it turns on next in regular flash light mode, as expected.

These lights are bright and have all the functions. EXCEPT you have to charge them with a USB charger. I really do not like this type of battery system. I would rather have a single "AA" battery. These do make great gifts to have handy.

I love these lights. They only use 1 AA battery, so they won't be the brightest, but they are great for what they are. It's designed to also use a 14500 battery which does more or less double the brightness (i tested), but that's a pretty uncommon sized battery. The beam is zoomable and the side work light function is pretty awesome. For less than $3 a flashlight, I can't find any complaints.

***UPDATE*** After speaking with the seller, I have learned that apparently they received a bad batch of lights. They are very nice and responsive . So for customer service alone I am adding 1½ stars. If they get this issue under control my rating will go to 5 stars I'm sure. When these arrived I was delighted ! They are small, have multiple use functions, rechargeable and made of metal. After charging I also found out they are extremely bright. I planned on buying 20 more(can never have enough quality, small flashlights).then I started using them. That's when I found out that they only stay on for 3-4 minutes. Then they turn themselves off. You can turn them back on immediately but they only stay on for 2 minutes at a time after the initial 4 minute period. I thought maybe I had a defective one but no they are all like that. So I guess if you have a need for 4 minutes of light, these are perfect for you. However for the rest of us that have stuff to do in the dark and need a little more time, do not waste your money! I will be returning these. And the quest for high quality low cost rechargeable little flashlights continues...

Really happy with these, they all charge and seem to work. Great to carry in a travel backpack or in your glove compartment. Pleased with their preformance!

Bright compact and durable. I bought this multi pack as stocking stuffers, my workers love them.

The version being sold now (5-pack) is rechargeable only but the battery is inside. There seems to be no way to open up the lights to change the battery. During charging, a light behind the switch goes on until the battery is full. The same light comes on again to give a 5 minutes warning about charge depletion during use. The side light will operate for 50 mins on a full charge. Each light came in a cool little case that had a snap to close lid that would be waterproof after installing a suitable O-ring.

The flashlights are great and I love the lantern function. It’s almost too bright with the 14500 battery. Unfortunately when I put in the battery, the switch was set to on and something happened when screwing it in. With the remaining lights, I first put in a AA and made sure the switch was off and then removed the battery. Then I put in the 14500 and screwed down the switch cap. I’m uncertain if the 14500 batteries were providing too high of a voltage or if something on the controllers was faulty. After they broke, I wanted to troubleshoot the issue. I had to use 2 AA batteries in series to get the led’s to power up without the controller circuit but both the lantern and the single front led lit up. I haven’t tried the 14500 battery yet but plan to at some point. Anyhow, I didn’t closely examine the circuitry on the controller but I’m sure something on it has blackened. I still have 8 lights left so my Quest for Amazon El Dorado Prime can continue even on the darkest of nights.
