Night Vision Digital Camcorder

This is definately a camcorder for the novice ghost hunter. It's substandard in terms for a professional investigator.I purchased this camcorder for around $50, and I wouldn't pay any more than that for this model. I snatched this for my 10 year old son to add to his very own paranormal investigation kit. He's my investigator in training, and loves to practice using my much more expensive paranormal equipment. It was time for his own!The LCD screen is small, and difficult to view, and the built in IR lights don't illuminate a room much bigger than 10x10. Which is fine for my son, since he just uses it around the house trying to capture some wandering and illusive spirits. He has yet to go on an actual investigation...Added IR lights are a must if you want to try to use this out on a real hunt!I DO NOT recommend this for the experienced or professional investigator! This cheap camcorder works just as well--if not better--than the "full spectrum" modified rip-offs sold for paranormal research, none of which are really full spectrum. This camcorder is advertised as a "night vision camcorder" and it works quite well for that. Simple to use and simple to upload video files to your computer. Audio is awful but for its intended purpose who cares. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is it uses AAA batteries which don't last long with the IR LEDs turned on. Other than that I'm happy with it. Can't beat the price.

this camera is actually pretty solid. good for paranormal investigations and speedy uploads. the night vision surprised me with how well it actually works. i went and got an IR illuminator for 23 dollars to add on to this and the camera is even more impressive. this camera + 20 dollar IR illuminator gives you an awesome rig for ghost hunting for under 70 dollars. you literally cant beat that price. good for anyone on a budget in the paranormal field. 100% satisfied. dont spend $150+ on gear that does exactly the same for less. also the "frequently bought together" section here with the camera + emf + spirit box is literally a beginner kit to ghost hunting for less than $150 which is also in my opinion an awesome deal. do it.

I do like this camera as it is lightweight. However, the sensitivity for night vision is very poor. you have to be 6-10 inches fron the subject to get any image on night vision mode. It is a nice starter camera for the kids to play with and regular images shot with it are very good quality.

I gave this item a four because although this camera works great and does what it says the price is a tad too high. It is worthy of a five rating if the price was ten to twenty dollars cheaper. It arrived when it was suppose to and of course I took it on its maiden ghost hunt. Even though we didn't catch any spirits we did have a blast using this camera.

I wanted an IR camcorder to do some amature paranormal investigation. For the price you get what you get but that isn't all bad either. I added the Poloroid 36 led IR light and get up to 30ft of lighted distance.

This thing takes OK pictures at night however it's not high definition so if you want something better you need to spend a lot more money, but for the purpose it works really well.

Not exactly what I was looking for. The range is not what I thought it would be.
