I'm retired and enjoy cooking. I decided to try making crumpets rather than buy in the store. These rings are solid. They make the job easy and are sturdy. A little expensive, but, amortized over the 200 crumpets I've made and they still look brand new, I'd say they were a bargain

It does have a seam like some have stated that is not in the pictures. But this is a very sturdy and really nice set. The last set I bought a few years ago was very disappointing and did not hold there shape. I don't see that being an issue with these at all. I love how solid they feel. A welcome edition to the kitchen.

We are novice crumpeteers, so this was our first foray into the mystery-shrouded world of crumpet craft. Generally speaking, the product is good. The only criticism is that batter tends to stick to the ring even if you oil it well, but we found using butter to be more effective. So when you use this, use a fat that will retain some viscosity and stickiness despite the heat.

I think that this is a very good product. It is exactly as described. The crumpets I made were formed and cooked perfectly. I do suggest that you use a small bit of oil or butter on the inside of ring (not spray).

Excellent, sturdy rings. I use them regularly for baking biscuits. A little expensive, but worth the added price compared to alternatives.

Was very pleased to receive these Uncle Jack crumpet rings. My first order was lost in the mail; Amazon refunded the money, and I'm glad I re-ordered. Works well and feels good in the hand.

I wanted the convenience of a double rolled ring with rounded edges and smooth seams in a reliable metal material -- and I got that. Lube 'em up with oil, and making crumpets (English Muffins) is a snap. And they are easy to clean. But they lose 2 stars because the rolls are not tight, and they trap water, and likely food -- imagine my surprise when I picked them up out of the drying rack, and they leaked water. So I've learned to shake 'em and turn 'em over and shake 'em to let them dry. Quality not worth the price.

Yes, I’ve joined the sourdough bandwagon and bought how great it would be to try making crumpets. I wanted stainless steel and I wanted something that would last. I could tell from the pictures that these would fill the bill and I’m not disappointed. Heavy, sturdy, perfect. These will outlast my sourdough obsession!
