This product is freaking amazing
How is this not on pet store shelves everywhere? Why isn't it the first thing people bring up on fish forums as a way to combat BGA (Blue-Green Algae aka Cyanobacteria)? I was losing my mind trying to fight this stuff in my 29 gallon planted tank. I accidentally let my nitrates get too low and had a MASSIVE outbreak. I followed all the advice I could find on how to get rid of the stuff - adjusting lighting and water circulation and fertilizer dosage etc. etc. I did multiple 3-5 day blackouts but it would grow back to pre-blackout levels by the next day. Finally I found this stuff and decided heck, why not, it certainly couldn't make the BGA any worse than it already was. I dosed per instructions, but did not add an airstone as my filter set up creates plenty of surface movement. I only dosed once, but did a partial water change halfway through and replaced what I removed when I added the new water. For the first few days I was really disappointed: nothing changed, there was still algae everywhere. Then suddenly around day 5 or 6 it just started melting away. Huge areas of it simply disappeared, others turned brownish and kind of disintegrated. Within 7 or 8 days after my initial dose every single speck of BGA was gone. I attached a before and after picture of part of my tank. The top photo is from right before the treatment (and that was AFTER manually removing a bunch during a pretreatment water change), and the bottom photo is from 6 days later. At that point there were a few teeny tiny spots left around the tank, but like I said, every speck was gone by day 8 or so. If you know the underlying cause of your outbreak but still cant get rid of the algae, this product is a lifesaver. If you don't know why you have BGA then this will probably be a temporary fix at best, but it could buy you time to figure out what the problem is. I will never be without this again! And I almost forgot to mention that it had absolutely no negative effects on any of my fish, even the more sensitive ones, and it didn't hurt my beneficial bacteria at all.

WILL MAKE YOU BELIEVE IN GOD
As far as I'm concerned, this stuff is magic. How a single spoonful of what looks to be strawberry fun-dip completely wiped out the cyanobacteria in my tank is beyond me. This stuff works so well it's STARTLING. I scoured the web for suggestions about how to deal with this blue-green nightmare. I changed my light, I adjusted nitrates up and down, I shortened the photo period, checked phosphates, cut back on feeding, and I have live plants. Literally nothing could stop this stuff. I knew erythromycin was a last ditch effort and the underlying causes should be dealt with but I had no options. And then, out of nowhere comes this witchcraft called Blue-Green Slime "Stain-Remover"????. If by "stains" they mean large sheets covering everything then yes, I wanted the "stains" removed. None of the forums or guides I read ever mentioned this stuff so I was super skeptical but I figured I'd give it a go seeing as it has no antibiotics. Now I'm extremely confused as to why this product isn't more widely used. All my tanganyikan cichlids were unharmed, and the filter was untouched. I just lowered the water level a bit so the HOB filter oxygenated the water a bit more. The blue-green algae just shrivels and dies and after 5-6 days, IT'S LIKE IT NEVER HAPPENED. I used maybe 5% of the container for my 20 gallon and that took care of my problem completely. And because it's not an antibiotic, the cyanobacteria never develops anti-biotic resistance meaning that I will never have cyanobacteria again because I still have 95% of the DAMN BOTTLE LEFT! BE GONE YOU PRIMORDIAL SCUM!!!

Worked well for me
I battled with blue green algae (BGA) for several months before resorting to this product. I don't really like to use chemicals in my aquariums but I could not get rid of it no matter what I tried. I cleaned and vacuumed the tank. I tried to hand pick the stuff out. I also tried keeping the tank blacked out in a dark room for 3 days but the algae would come back. BGA literally stinks and stuck really well to my gravel so it seemed impossible to get rid of all of it. I could get rid of most of it but then it eventually just came back. I used this stuff in a 6 gallon tank with a guppy and 3 ghost shrimp and everyone did fine. I also have a few live plants and they did not seem to be bothered at all either. I didn't really notice much happening until after about 3 days and ended up doing 3 doses (waited 48 hrs between doses) with one 30% water change after the first dose. Just be patient and it will work! It has been about 3 weeks since the algae disappeared and it has not come back at all. I am very happy with this product and so happy that the stinky, slimy BGA is finally gone!

Finally something that works! Buy this!
This stuff is great. I have been battling this algae in my African Cichlid tank for months. All of the name brand algae chemicals just seemed to make it angry. Was nervous about buying this as the ingredients aren't listed, but nothing else worked and I was willing to risk it. Nothing happened after 3 days so I gave it another dose. It took about 5 days before I noticed improvement, but then over the next few days it slowly disappeared. I ran an air stone as recommended. No impact to the fish and I even have some baby fish in the tank. Not sure why it says it treats only 150 gallons. I used the recommended dose for 75 gallons and barely used a quarter of it. But, hey, more for your money.See the picture for a visual of the results. I didn't do any tank cleaning between the before and after pics. The only difference is the remover doing its thing. If you have green slime buy this!

Amazing product
I am not a person who logs into Amazon to write a review. But the performance of this product compels me to write one.

Works great if you're using against the cyanobacteria agae!
This product works exactly as advertised if you're using it against blue green cyanobacteria algae. I believe all the people on here rating it one star are using it against a none...

Good stuff
Worked great! Used it to get rid of the blue green algae in my freshwater tank. It took two applications and eliminated the algae. My fish and plants did fine.

This stuff works!
I had tried everything else—blackout weeks, manual removal, water changes, etc, and my BGA kept coming back stronger than before. Two months after using this stuff, still clear!

Not the miracle cure other reviews made it sound like
I was having a serious blue-green algae (to the best of my ability to identify it) takeover, of my betta's 10 gallon tank.

Inconsistent
I had an outbreak of cyano in my well established heavily planted 29G tank. I tried this product instead of erythromycin because of the less intensive treatment protocol.
