Draw 500 Fabulous Flowers: A Sketchbook for Artists, Designers, and Doodlers Paperback – September 15, 2014

I love Lisa Congdon. I first found her on CreativeBug and enjoyed her classes there very much. This book is smaller than I thought it would be, but there is still room on the pages to practice drawing your own flowers. Some of the drawings seem very simple to me as a beginner, but most look more intermediate to me. there are many different styles and types of flowers, so there is something for everyone. I bought this used, and it came in excellent condition which made me really happy. thank you Lisa!

Great for inspiration when painting flowers.

This handy paperback is filled with quirky drawings of many varieties of flowers. My flowers sketches have improved greatly since I purchased 500 Fabulous Flowers!

I love this little book! It's small enough to carry in my purse. I pull it out in the doctor's office or anywhere I might have to wait for awhile.It's a great conversation starter too!All of the flowers are inspiring and I find myself doodling flowers when I'm at work. I do need to pack multiple size markers; so far I've only had a micropen with me, and I'd like to have some broader tips for coloring in petals.

Besides being useful, this is such a cute and sweet little book on drawing flowers. The book is full of 500 flowers to inspire the artist and they can be interpreted and expanded on in any way you want. I'm glad the other reviewer mentioned that "How to Draw a Tulip" is the same book because I almost ordered that one, but I went ahead and ordered the one on drawing cats, one of my favorite subjects.This is a fun and useful book to inspire the beginning artist or one who is more accomplished. I certainly recomment it.

The book has a good selection of completed pictures but no instructions on how to go about drawing them...

I draw from this book every day. It's so inspiring and easy to use. I love making these drawings in ink and covering them in watercolor.
