Very impressed with this item. Totally recommended. Easy assembly and gives our outside stray kitty a place to stay warm and dry.

We bought this for a cat that recently adopted us to be it's family. With winter coming on we wanted to provide it with warmth. The instructions and setup was a breeze with all of the pilot holes and put it together in less than an hour and it looks so good. We drilled a hole in the back for the heater and the cat went right in. It looks so good, I can't believe it.

This is a great house for my outdoor cat. To get an idea of the size of this, she is about #15 and is laying on the top in the first picture. And only she can fit into the bottom section, this is not meant for medium size or large animals. It was easy to put together although there aren't any pilot holes for the screws which would have been helpful. The only downside is that there isn't a way to shield the rain from going into the bottom half, so the blankets will get wet in the front. I'm going to have to make something for that. I put a heating pad and blankets for cold nights and as you can see during good weather my cat uses the balcony. For us this is a great house, good quality and it has held up through our crazy weather.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Check out the pictures. Pieces arrived broken that we had to fix and hammer back in. Hardly anything lined up with the screw holes. We actually had to flip half of the house backwards (inside out) and try to attach the screws that way. The roof was a mess and super crumbly in the box. The top and bottom house pieces didn't FIT so we had to switch them. HUGE gap but at least it fits now. No screw holes aligned at all so we had to try to align it ourselves. Wood splintered when we screwed in ALL the screws. Cheaply made. Poor quality wood and instructions. Please don't waste your $$$. I requested a refund. NO refund unless I take the time to take this all apart and send it back. I won't be wasting any more time on this cat house.

The item arrived on time and the shipping box was in good condition. Very cute dog house, but cheap material and poorly made. There would have been gaps in the walls and floor. One of the roof boards was warped and split. Another part of the house was also split. The wood was very light and thin and the directions said not to use a drill - probably because it would split the wood. Very light coat of paint, but not adequate to protect against the elements. Don't waste your money!

Good for the price but firstly, this did NOT take 30 minutes like they say...it took us an hour and a half and we have a power drill.... secondly, some of the pieces had NO HOLES DRILLED...so we had to make our own. Thirdly, the pieces came looking very dirty as you can see in the pictures..poorly painted, chipped, and overall dirty looking. It looked as if It had already been used, also, TERRIBLE finish.. there is no protective coating so this will dirty veryy easily and the wood is abrasive.. not to mention, the stairs are incredibly small.. Thankfully I'm an artist so I had some paint and I applied a fresh coat of white paint and even painted the criss-cross black and afterwards applied my own coat of polyurethane to the entire thing.

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! The only reason I’m giving it 4 starts is bc assembly was torture! There were no holes, we had to make them ourselves.

My cat has still not used this, but shes picky. :)The house itself is great. I was worried if it would be stable when I put it all together, it was. It does have a "worn" look which by looking at the pictures online is by design. Maybe rustic would be a better word? In any event its stable and thats all I cared about. I have a large adult cat and while she doesn't use this allot, when she does, she fits.If you're looking for a space for a large cat i definitely recommend this.
