Sony ICF-CD814 AM/FM Stereo Clock Radio with CD Player, White (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

The custom service is pretty good, actually, they sent me very nice letter, but the item itself is really bad. it was not only defective but also really dirty(even had some dried blood on the body of machine), I was pretty mad they sent such kind of junk, I left very bad review, but after I calm down, I shouldn't use the "liar" such kind of strong words, but the quality for this CD player is really bad. I returned this items a few days ago. But I still feel it's gross especially during this pandemic time. I am not recommend it.

I wouldn't have bought secondhand, except that I bought one of these for my daughter who lives in the UK and I LOVED IT. When I realized, that yes, I really did need (for mindfulness practice) a CD player in bedroom...low and behold, stupid Sony no longer made these. But smart Amazon did sell.LOVE it. So very easy. First. To use in dark, the buttons, I put those glow in the dark stickers people use on ceilings for solar system etc. In kids' rooms (of course I have these stickers because we use it in our adult bedroom.) So on off easy to find. Low light for time, LOW...as it should be.CD player can be heard two rooms away (if you need/want) or low...it just is overall a great player. Much more solid and great sound than the rubbish that is sold now (as far as I've seen.)

I PURCHASED THREE DIFFERENT CD ALARM CLOCKS AND EACH OF THEM HAD A PROBLEM. ONE FROZE ON TRACK 2; ONE YOU COULD NOT ADJUST THE VOLUME; SO I COULD NOT HEAR IT AS I DO HAVE A HEARING PROBLEM. THE THIRD ONE WOULD NOT PLAY A CD. AFTER ALL THIS I GOT SMART AND ORDERED A SONY CD ALARM CLOCK. I DO NOT USUALLY BUY A SECOND-HAND ITEM BUT I KNEW SONY IS THE BEST YOU CAN BUY IT IS TERRIBLE THAT SONY DOES NOT MAKE THEM ANYMORE. i AM EXTREME;Y HAPPY WITH MY SONY.

I wanted a dual alarm am/fm CD,clock that is well built, has good sound and that’s what I got. It has much better reception than my old one and better sound quality. Also has an audio import. I didn’t want one with all the charge ports by my head at night. Everything is adjustable and easily programmed. You don’t have to be a mind reader! Great clock.

I love it. Please world of technology bring back the good old days of simplicity. I didnt even need an owners manual to operate ( and didnt receive one regardless)--- ahh life before the complicated wake up devices sold today. I'm thinking about buying a second one and storing it so I'll have a back up when this one goes.

It is a used product but it is just as new! I’ve had bad experiences with low quality alarm clocks/radio/CD. All made in China. This is the real McCoy! SONY!!

Just what we wanted. Small enough and lots of features. CD player, alarm clock, and is just what we needed.

The clock was in very good condition.
